“Lovely pub, food was lovely, hot and tasty. Plenty of choice too. Service was friendly and we weren't rushed. Only negative was as it was a hot day doors were open and there were quite a number of fly's that we had to keep wafting away while trying to eat. Despite this would dine there again.”

“Visited after walking to the Hilbre Islands last week. Lovely pub, decorated so nice on the outside that's what caught our eye.
Managed to get a table on a Saturday night without booking which was great.
We had the steak and ale pie and the cheeseburger for our mains. Food was nice, shame the pie didn't have more steak in and the gravy wasn't home made .
Would visit again and try something different”

“BEST ROAST DINER EVER!!!
Wow what a roast dinner that was. I am a roast dinner snob and have been round most of the places on the Wirral and I can hand on heart say that was the most delicious roast dinner I’ve had in a while. The side plates were incredible ( great variety of choices ) services was amazing
Definitely 5 star from em. We will definitely be back next Sunday
