We had a lovely meal, and it’s a gorgeous venue. Our waitress Ashley was amazing, very attentive and a pleasant smiley face while we were served. Thank you very much!

My previous review was quite scathing, service a bit messy, food not so good. However, our visit on Mother's Day was a big hit.Service was spot on, staff very attentive and friendly. Couldn't have asked for better. The food was back to the great standard we expected, fresh and flavoursome. The Sunday roasts were perfect, no complains and clean plates all round. After speaking to the current manager, the place went down hill briefly under previous management. Now that they've been replaced, the Cottage Loaf is back to it old self, serving great quality food with great service to match. We'll be back soon.

Came on Mother's day, really nice food with loads of gravy on roast dinners. Was good to see prices weren't hiked up due it being mother's day. Only disappointment was they've stopped doing cauliflower cheese!

We had a wonderful time at the Cottage Loaf for Mother's day. Not only was the food great and atmosphere throughout the restaurant electric. The service we received from our server Josh was impeccable, he made our very special Mother's day meal even better. A truly marvellous experience all around, we will definitely be returning to the Cottage Loaf.

Took my mother for Sunday lunch and couldn't fault it. Service and food were spot on. The restaurant is in a lovely location and is a really nice place.Dietary restrictions: Very nice gluten free options. The sunday roast was really good.

Lovely pub which I have been coming to for years. In a lovely setting in thurstaston. Came again with family after a few years break, booked in advance, staff were nice and so was food apart of the roast dinner which I had was not the best tasting and veg very overcooked. Our baby also had a kids roast dinner, which was an adult size portion and she was quite happy. The rest of my families meals though were lovely. We sat outside for drinks after. Nice experience and will be back soon.
