The staff were ok and the pub was welcoming. The mushrooms had runout for the roast dinners we ordered which was a pity. When I paid the bill, I had been overcharged, so had to get it corrected before I finally paid.Parking: Behind pub. Maybe around 50 spaces

There was 4 of us and 2 were disabled my mum is 91 and brother 70 . When it was time to order we all wanted the steaks or mixed grill, we were told then sorry but the grill is broken. They had my number I feel I should have been messaged to be told about grill!!!I couldn’t possibly of been able to transport 2 disabled people and start to search for another restaurant.Staff were really nice, that’s the only reason we stayed.I would of liked to have been able to give a nice review

Did not book, but we were able to find a table that was free u til 19.45 hrs, so plenty of time for us to use and leave prior to that time. Food and a bottle of wine ordered, wine delicious, food served promptly, well presented, and good portions. Very tasty too. Excellent value.

Lovely chilled pub. Food looks gorgeous although we never ate... We will do so in the future though.

Good standard pub grub with lovely friendly staff and a pleasant, warm interior. Could do with some more veggie and vegan options but a good selection otherwise.

The food for 2 of the party of 3 was absolutely disgusting. The 3rd person is 88 and doesn't complain much but, visually it looked the same disappointing food prepared with very little care or attention to detail. The vegetarian curry was not authentic at all, resembling a cheap can of curry soup. The rib of beef tasted odd, served with mushy over cooked vegetables and a crispy portion of potato, nearly completely devoid of moisture.

I visited on Christmas day with my family and from start to finish the staff where brilliant, so friendly and welcoming. It was so busy but they worked so hard keeping people happy. The food was so nice and can not fault a thing. Thank you to all the staff for making our Christmas day so special.

We ordered brunch and a pot of tea. Both were luke warm.We did complain about the tea and it was replaced with a hot one.We didn't enjoy our meal because it wasn't hot.

We booked a family visit for the breakfast with Santa, the coffee and breakfast was lovely and Santa was amazing, he was so good with the kids and the activity pack at the end was great, it kept the children amused whilst we all had a little drink. All the staff are lovely and happy to help with anything. We will definitely book again next year, that will be our fourth year in a row.

Booked table for 6pm for festive menu. The attendant told us there was no red cabbage they'd run out so it was replaced with savoy which is fine. However, the meal was served minus the sprouts and the pigs in blankets... I did call over a member of staff to inform, she said chef had just finished a batch of pig in blankets so will bring me some but the way she said you really want the sprouts I felt like she was pushing for me to say no which I did as I felt embarressed. Food was fine nothing special. My friend ordered the apple and Berry pie with custard. It came out as a crumble. It was a bowl of sloppy sauce with hard fruit and the tiniest layer of crumb. To be honest not impressed and I wouldn't visit again. You don't know till you try and we tried but yous failed to deliver. On a positive note the staff were very friendly no complaints there
