Food was good but got the to good to go deal, it was meant to be the last of the night but ended up as just z meal with turkey had no choice of meat and as we both do not like turkey we were extremely disappointed so hence won't go

Very busy and service friendly but slow. Has indoor children's play area, which was why we chose to go here. Good value for money carvery and kids menu.Kid-friendliness: Good indoor play area.

We went here for a table for 8. Service was fast and efficient. The carvery is the same as any other pub carvery not as good as you would do your self but plenty satisfying. The guys that work behind the carvery deserve a medal. The guy cutting the meat was pumping them out, keeping it fast, and keeping the line to a minimum play area. It is great for the kids, but it's terrible to be seated near kids running past at light speed etc all in all would definitely returnVegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available on the carvery

After a long day on motorcycle, both of us were hungry. So glad to find and dine at your restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing any trouble. A credit to your company. Food certainly hit the spot.

Nice place.Just one thing bugs me, that I’ve only ever seen around the StHelens area.I’ve been drinking in pubs for forty years. Never have I had to form a queue at the bar to get a drink. Not a criticism, I just find it odd.The staff are very nice though.

Food was really good here as it usually is with this chain (this isn't my local but mine is around the corner and go quite often). Service wasn't the best here though. No one came to check if we were ok though they did go to the tables around which did give an odd feeling. Still recommend for a carvery ??

Went here tonight for a meal 2 adults 2 kids we booked in advance so we got our table straight away. Ordering was great no queuing quick and easy app you download and order and pay through the app and food gets served to you table and even your drinks. Fast service, very nice atmosphere not been for ages but will be back very soon and highly recommended. Food potions are fantastic and one of the best places I’ve eaten at was absolutely gorgeous cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly. The server from the kitchen was very helpful with our missing dessert and rectified it when we told him. Had a pleasant evening and will definitely be back. Thank you guys.Vegetarian options: There are options on menu for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Yes, very kid friendly has a play area and a grab machine with squishy toys in that kids loved to have a go on to win a prize, kids menu is great best I’ve ever seen for choice.Parking: Large car parking area and on street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes in some areasDietary restrictions: Yes have plenty options

Lovely place, very nice carvery and reasonable price. You are not rushed to eat and leave, this has got to be my favourite place for food, especially the carvery which has so much choice.Parking: Plenty of spaceWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible right near the door.

Stopped off here for lunch and not disappointed, service great, food and drinks excellent. All in all great and will call again if in the area

Lovely place, we have been coming here intermittently since it opened, it did go down and lower food standards but now seems to have better staff and a manager walking round checking on customers meals. Keep up the good work. The food was lovely.

Popped in today for the first time in years with the family for a bite to eat. The pub was less than half full and we were immediately greeted and directed to a vacant table, as a reasonably regular Green King visitor I decided to order on the App and placed my order for 4 people very easily.28 minutes later the drinks finally arrived. My daughter had already been served and was most of the way through her meal before her drink arrived. When we spoke to a member of staff to query where the drinks were the response we were given was “nothing they can do as there are only two on the bar”.No help whatsoever, staff were more than happy to stand around talking but not to serve drinks and not to clear tables. It’s an shame actually as thats what I will remember and not the fact that the food was delicious.

What happened? Used to love this place until changed menu but now it's not same. Also always miss something from the order and have poor excuse like no food available. Not sure why you have to wait until ushered to a table when loads are available either. Pointless. It's still nice but not as good as it was so 3 star from me.

We've been here before several times when visiting family in Liverpool. We've never had a carvery here but we really enjoyed it. Our server, Spencer at the carvery was very friendly, chatty and welcoming. He served our food with a smile. The food was great and perfectly cooked and the gravy boat with the carvery bap was a nice touch as we've never had that at other Farmhouse Inns.

Ok food and service however the child area is not great. Just has kids arcade machines you have to pay for, nothing for a kid to actually do. It's a money maker for the pub but is a nightmare for parents. I would avoid taking younger kids there.

We go for breakfast every Saturday. We are welcomed most weeks by Ray who runs a tight ship but is very friendly and any problems he sorts out quickly. We also go in the for evening meal, the only complaint is the menu the selection of meals on offer, I have an allergy to garlic and find very few meals without garlic.
