This pub used to have a great quiz on a Thursday. Expert quiz master, enjoyable quiz and overall, a good way to spend a Thursday evening. Regrettably, due I believe to a change of management, it has been decided this quiz is not able to continue, for somewhat questionable reasons. It has been replaced with a simpler quiz on a Sunday evening. Not even the same quiz master. Who wants to go to the pub for a quiz on a Sunday I ask you? Not us. These customers now ex customers.

The Green Lodge is Hoylake's hidden gem! A great choice of food, and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, a special shout out to Ella who was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous time.
