We had a portion of chips to add to our cooked at home dinner.When I opened them it was obvious they weren't fresh cooked chips but frozen chips.I have been using the gui garden for years but the standard has gradually declined so I won't be using them again.

Possibly the worst take away I’ve ever had, salt & pepper chicken inedible & cold, waited 1 hour +++, chicken rock hard, dry noodles, absolutely horrible. Spoke to a staff member who wants every dish sent back so the “chef” can see if it’s good or bad, not interested at all in the review.

I have never had a worse Chinese takeaway... absolutely gutted. Just moved to the area, and couldn't be more disappointed with our local takeaway.Rice and "curry" was bland and just looked like it was covered in slop not curry,Chips are frozen and hard textured, not nice at all,S&p chicken came as a shredded style rather than chunks... and had barely any chicken in it, just rock hard batter, inside was either stringy or this odd purple colour, and finally the sweet and sour sauce was lumpy gelatenous gloop. how is that even possible?!Really disappointed, hungry, and to top it off it was cold when delivered.

Used to be good... untill they started to cancel orders after making people wait for an hour for their food. Happy days guys haappy days. You totally deserve your rating and it all makes sense now!!!

At around 7pm we rang to order a takeaway for delivery and was told that it would be a hour. At 8.30pm we rang to ask when our delivery would be delivered and was told it hadn't been cooked yet but the chef? would be doing it soon and it would be ready in 30 minutes. So 2 hours after ordering, our food would be kept warm waiting for the delivery driver to collect and deliver. With no apology for the delay or non delivery we were told we could cancel if we wanted to. This we did and the person on the phone offered no apology to us for having to cancel. We have used this takeaway on numerous occasions over the years but tonight has been the last time.

Ordered food at 7.15pm, arrived at 10.30pm. Telephoned twice and was told the order was on its way. The third time I called just after 10pm there was no answer as the shop had closed. Food arrived at 10.30pm but we had had to make other plans.

Bone dry chips without a doubt the worst chips I’ve ever eaten. Chips the easiest thing in the world to cook and you can’t do it.

It wasn't great if I'm being honest. Sweet and sour chicken was very poor. The beef in black bean with green peppers had an overwhelming flavour of a cheap "stock cube", which wasn't very pleasant.Won't be ordering from here again sadly.There are very good, and very bad chinese takeaways around the area. Unfortunately this is the latter. Far better places around for less money.Delivery drivers were nice and friendly though.

We usually come here for the salt and pepper chicken. However, tonight this dish tasted burnt and was dry and hard. I'm not sure if they have changed recipes but it is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Really not worth the money. Part of our order was missing also.

WORST chinese we’ve ever been to, soup was bland, prawn toast and won tons were soggy and full of greasechicken was so hard and clearly overcooked and i called to ask for no chilli as I am allergic and it was still givenrice was burnt and tasted of smokedont waste your money here

You'd think that you can't go wrong with a simple chips and gravy? The chips are always dry and cooked twice - so they are cooked before, then stored and reheated when they run out. they are as dry as an old shoe. Most Chinese restaurants and takeaways are known for their good tasty gravy. The gravy here has literally no taste. So very disappointing and it's a shame because years ago, this was a great place to get food from. I'd rather go hungry than go here again. Total waste of money.

Garbage, can't even get a crab and sweetcorn soup right... Extremely watery with no flavour, in two very small cartons and overpriced. Never going again. Chippy over the road way better,
