We arrived approximately 2.30pm on the29/10/23 and asked for a table for 2.I ordered drinks at the bar and took our seats in the dining room. We ordered food and sat waiting patiently. By 3.25pm. I asked a member of staff what was happening. After 5 minutes a different member of staff came and said our meal would be 5 minutes. Ten minutes later we went to the bar and said we were leaving. A gentleman who i can only assume was the bar manager offered a feeble excuse that our order ticket had accidentally fell on the floor and he apologised without making eye contact. It didn't stop him charging me for the drinks. I am totally disgusted with his condescending attitude and I will never frequent the place again . I have already messaged some of my friends and they will not be going there either.

Lovely place for a nice Sunday roast! Wonderful service and and delicious food. Pet friendly as well and they also do a Sunday roast for your furry friend. Luna gives it a 10/10 as well!

We popped in during the week so it was very Q. However the food was amazing and I would highly recommend giving this place a go.

Great place for food and drinks. Perfect when it's a sunny day. Very dog friendly, with plenty of biscuits and drinking water ?

Surprisingly good vegan food at the funeral of a friend today.

I took my Mum to Pied Bull for a lunch time treat. You have to put your registration on a touch screen when you go in the pub. We did this and found a table. Hardly anyone in the place. A lady with blonde hair who.must have been bar person or manager ignored us, we were sat at table for at least 10 mins looking at menu, the lady never came over to welcome us or ask us did we want a drink. Prices are ridiculous, £9 for a sandwich, £7 for a bowl of soup. We decided to leave..Avoid this pub.

Fantastic food and great service! The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I’d definitely recommend a visit!

First time visiting the Pied Bull and it did not disappoint. We were a party of 6, one being a child. 4 of us had the Sunday roast, one had a selection of 4 bar snacks and finally there was a child's chicken strips meal. The beef roast dinner was lovely, the beef cooked to perfection, and portion sizes were perfect. My daughter had the chicken in breadcrumbs with chips, which she loved, song with the chocolate brownie.Staff were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be visiting again!Parking: Parking is free as long as you remember put your car reg into the tablet at the bar.

If you live a good Sunday roast, get yourself to the pied bull. Right from the get go the staff were so friendly and welcoming and very attentive. We had hardly any wait time for our food, and when it came it was absolutely delicious! The beef I had was just melt in the mouth! The staff were brilliant with my young grandson and made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place! Get yourself down there!!!

Have been coming here for a while as it is really local and fantastic. There's currently a great quiz on a Wednesday, a lovely terrace and great music acts once a month.

Disappointing visit. We had seen mixed reviews online, but thought we’d give this place a try.The prices are steep, however I don’t mind paying for good service and good food. Unfortunately we got neither…On arrival, there was no clear member of staff to take us to our booked table. We waited a few minutes until going over to the bar to ask someone to show us to our table.Service was slow, our food order was taken after 3 other tables although we arrived before them. From arriving for our booking to getting food it was an hour and a quarter. The food was okay. It was trying really hard to look up market but it tasted very average. Specifically, as other reviews have stated, both the pork and chicken were very dry.If our food was cheep we wouldn’t have minded, but paying over £15 for a roast with dry meat and a burnt Yorkshire is unacceptable.Won’t be returning.

We, me my husband and two dogs visited this pub on a lovely Saturday evening. Newton-Le-Willows is a great lively place on the weekend, a nice happy place to visit. The Pied Bull was very busy outside and in the pub, but if your looking for a fantastic meal, don’t be put off by it being busy, the restaurant is at the back of the pub and serves food until 9pm, it has a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was lovely and the staff are so nice and make you (and the dogs) feel very special. I’m vegan, husband meat eater and they cater for all diets. Lovely quiet outside area to the side as well with deckchairs circled round fire pits, so cosy. Can’t recommend this pub enough, we visited because of work and will definitely be back again soon with the dogs Izzy & Lily.

if i could award no stars i would!!!! i’ve never experienced such poor customer service in my life food is overpriced and average quality!! i asked to speak to the manager who accused me of swearing at him which i most certainly did not!! he asked me to leave and i said i couldn’t believe it i’m 60 years of age and i have never been asked to leave a pub !! the freinds i was with defended me and after 20 minutes the manager came outside and apologised to me i would not recommend this pub to anyone the attitude of the staff and management is absolutely appalling RUDE doesn’t even cover it !!
