Went for Mother's Day and it didn't disappoint. The generous portions, helping, friendly staff and fast service meant that we visited the following week for my daughters 10th birthday.

Can not recommend this place enough - the staff were absolutely lovely , couldn't do enough for us - very accommodating for my cousins little boy who has autism . The place itself is decorated so cool and the food was amazing - all fresh , very tasty and well worth the money . I had salt n pepper chicken burger, and it was delicious ? also had the dirty fried and hot brownie and ice cream - son had a raspberry milkshake he loved it

Excellent. Staff are warm welcoming and great with little ones. They cater for families . Which is great as you can go out get great food , great service and not worry about the little ones. Brilliant.

I've never been to Newton le willows before but couldn't help but notice shakey j's, from the outside it looks like a traditional American diner, the inside is full of retro video game mural paintings on the wall that fitted in well with the decor. The food was super tasty, and the coffee was aromatic and full flavoured. I will definitely be going back to try the rest of their delicious menu offerings. Overall I would totally recommend a visit, the staff are very friendly and can tell it's a big hit with all the locals.

Great food, great value, great service. Went for the first time for dinner with my granddaughter. The place itself was immaculately clean, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating and the atmosphere welcoming.

Took the kids (12 and 11) for a treat and was really impressed. The staff are lovely, attentive and welcoming. The iced coffee was very nice and they offered dairy free options at no extra charge.Not the cheapest of places (although not over-priced either) but definitely worth the money for fresh, homecooked food.We will definitely be visiting again.

We visited for lunch and were blown away by the service, atmosphere and food! Shakey's has been receiving fabulous FB reviews and it's easy to see why! The staff are lovely, it' has a relaxed atmosphere and the freshly-prepared food is delicious. The menu options cater for both meat eaters and vegetarians and everything is served with a genuine smile!We heartily recommend Shakey's and will definitely be back. A fabulous, family-run addition to Newton High Street!Vegetarian options: The macaroni cheese and jalapeno poppers are lovely, as are the salt and pepper chips!

Had a lovely breakfast and my daughter even had a milkshake with her free breakfast with an adult breakfast. She loves playing on the games and it keeps her entertained while we enjoyed our food. Next time we'll try the burgers
