Called in for lunch. Food and service were excellent. Don't go if you're looking for a place that's plastic and part of a chain. If you want somewhere with character then this is for you..

Lovely friendly staff and had a great time. The food was ok but the steak was quite fatty so would order something else next time. The other meals looked good and one of the group wanted garden peas but they'd brought mushy and they went and got extra so she had them straight away which I thought was great service.

Don't waste your money. Home cooking is not true, well for the Sunday menu. Warmed up and no taste, will definitely not be eating here ever again. Also think the cleaner was on strike as it was dirty, very dirty, the floor near our table was disgusting. Staff member who cleared the plates was ignorant. Didn't stay to try the desert. Very disappointed overall.
