I come here regularly with my friends and with family. The carvery is such good value and is well worth trying. The food I've had from the menu has always been top rate. Sometimes, the menu changes and that favourite dessert disappears, but I usually find a new one.

The carvery at this pub is to die for. Consistently delicious ham and beef, gorgeous gravy and the best roast potatoes and parsnips you could ask for. Staff are always lovely too. Really puts other chain pubs carverys to shame. Will be bringing my family from New york soon to enjoy a good roast dinner. Keep up the great work ? and don't change the gravy lol?

We visited the Grapes on Tuesday 19th March for our Daughters 16th Birthday. The service was faultless from start to finish and the food was perfect as well as very reasonably priced. I also have a friend who recently lost her mum and held a funeral reception here. She highly recommended it and experienced the same professional service as we did.Thanks to all the team at The Grapes for a lovely visit!!

Best carvery around. Meat is cooked to perfection and all veg etc is hot, it is topped up regularly. Staff and managers are all so friendly and you made to feel very welcome. Would definately recommend.

Amazing carvery, all fresh food and quick efficient service. The staff are all lovely and really helpful. I have problems walking and I’m always offered help. It’s the best carvery I’ve been to. I highly recommend the carvery. They also have a comprehensive menu to choose from if you fancy something else.

Booked for a table of 6 but phoned to add extra ppl on the booking they pulled out all the stops to help us even though they were fully booked. We needed wheelchair access and had a child in our group with special needs the member of staff Jenny that waited on us couldnt of been more helpful and was really accommodating to are needs she couldnt of been more helpful or friendly shes was amazing and went out her way to chat to us and give extra care and attention to my niece who is non verbal making a fuss of her making her visit that little bit special..well done jenny ur a star we will be back very soon!
