Its alright uf you wanna pay a 10ner for 1 full english only to have them take off half the things because maybe you dont like them only to have the food come to your table on a small rectangle plate, just for u to tale 1 bite and regret coming here. baccon was burnt and chewy, the one discusting sausage that looked like an orgres package and an egg that still had clear runny coating over the yolk, altleast they offered an alternative to the sour dough bread and i was able to get some normal toast, the place was nice inside 10/10 for presentation 1/10 for the food ps leek sausage???

Ok too eat here food ok, I asked for a small breakfast, said he will only cook it for children, I am only supposed to eat little and often, bit disappointed in that response. My wife enjoyed her

This is always a lovely treat. No matter what you order it’s fantastic. Staff are great. Happy to make changes if requested. Their sausage rolls are the best I’ve ever had.

Lovely little lunch with my daughter. Didn't know this place was here but glad we came. Lovely coffee and good food, I can recommend the cappuccino and the ham hock bennie. My daughter's food look good and went down a treat. Special mention for the sausage rolls which are worth the journey themselves, couldn't resist trying one and it was fab.We were the only people in at one point but soon filled up a bit.Good to support a local restaurant and will be back again soon ?Parking: Right next to Prescot Station

The food + the quirky location were great - I would have given 4-5 stars for them, however the atmosphere was awful - I feel they need a good extractor fan - the air appeared to be a little smoky on entering, and there was a smell of cooking fat. We sat upstairs, but when we left we smelt like we had been sat next to a fryer, our clothes + hair had obviously absorbed the smell. I hope this was a one off, as it did significantly colour the experience + reduce the star rating.

I had my first visit here last week and the food, location and service was 100 percent perfect. Quality premium produce at an excellent price. Seating upstairs with some seating downstairs.

Don't know why I've missed this place for so long! Went for lunch and chose chorizo and black pudding hash plus cheese and ham toastie on sourdough which were speedily served and well presented. We enjoyed both and hope to return in the summer to sit out in the garden when the weather is warmer. I'm very curious about the recent "African Evening" so I'm looking to sign up for notifications so I don't miss the next event.
