Booked a table for 15 people, including a baby of 7 months asked for a place for a high chair, phoned again because two people had cancelled again told them we had a baby with us and needed a high chair . Arrived they didn’t have any high chairs (no other babies in the restaurant) . between myself and my partner we had to keep our daughter on our lap while eating our meal, feeding her and playing with high chair toys . Shes normally very good when we eat out, this spoilt our evening . The food was lovely, staff were rude.

Arrived at the restaurant about 5.30pm it was very quiet only two tables eating. We were seated and ordered our food. There was only two of us and we didn’t want starters so we ordered just poppadoms and a main course each with rice and nann’s etc. The restaurant soon started to get busy with people being turned away at the door. As soon as we finished our main course it was promptly cleared in and the bill placed in front of us!!?? Not asked if we wanted dessert or anything else? I found this odd and then it soon became apparent that they wanted us out the restaurant to seat other people? We hadn’t even been there an hour? Not at any point were we given a time limit on the table or anything? I said to my girlfriend “looks like dessert won’t be happening then?” A few minutes after the bill arriving a waiter arrived with the card machine so we paid but still had full drinks. The manager then came over and told us we had 2 minutes and he wanted the table back? How rude is that? He returned a few minutes later and said “I told you 5 minutes ago I wanted the table back we have customers waiting” I politely told him that we have literally been rushed in and out of here, no desserts offered or anything? He was rude to say the least. I know lots of people that use this restaurant and they will hear all about this that’s for sure. Shocking customer service. You have just lost further custom we shall eat elsewhere from now on.

I’ve lived nearby for over 20 years and have never been here before, a friend recommended it to me so we went along expecting good things and we were not disappointed. The food was really nice, tasty and beautifully presented. The portions were enough, but not over facing. The staff that work there are really nice and friendly. They don’t serve alcohol, but there is an off-licence across the road and you can bring your own alcohol. We will definitely be back again, really enjoyed the evening.

One of the best British Indian restaurant meals I've had, enjoying since the 60s so fairly well qualified to say that!King Prawns are to die for, Madras beautiful and the Special Pilau rice best I've ever had.Lovely staff, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow I’m really particular about my curry and was dubious having this as a recommendation but wow what a find!!!! Chicken tikka starter was perfection and huge!! Tandoori prawn shashlik outstanding. Delivery on time and absolutely faultless will definitely be a regular

I ordered a takeaway which i collected and half the takeaway was missing so the meal was ruined. They said they would give me discount on my next order, but when I tried to do that a few weeks later the guy on the phone was rude offered me a free poppadom.They also charge £3.50 for a chapati daylight robbery!

Has to be the best place to eat on the Wirral, lovely and clean, polite attentive staff, fabulous food and very well priced. We have been many times over the last three years and never had a bad experience. Highly recommended
I have visited over many years and am pleased to say that I enjoy it more every time. It's a casual reataurant and the staff are friendly and take the time to advise on what to order. They will ask the kitchen to adjust the heat levels to accommodate all tastes. It suits to take our own alcohol as we pop into bargain booze on the way. Tasty food, generous portions, friendly staff. I look forward to our next visit.

6 of us had a fantastic night here last night. Food was absolutely superb. We took our own alcohol, and the staff kindly provided glasses and bottle opener/ corkscrew. A special thank you for making my lovely king prawn madras slightly cooler. We will return.
