I had a lovely time at the White Lion. There was a musician performing. There was a good range of cask ales at good value. There was a good mix of customers. Everyone seemed really friendly and a nice pair of ladies offered the seats nearby so that we could sit down. I had a Baltic Ale and it was a cracking pint.

We were recommended this place by a volunteer at the Port Sunlight Art Gallery. And wow, were we happy. Food was absolutely spot on. We will definitely return.Parking: We parked in town and wandered around, then headed to the pub.

Decided to wait having looked at the menu.Ordered a sharing plater starterFollowed by masaman curry and tad kra pao beefThe food was excellent and I would highly recommendBar staff excellent, friendly, service outstanding!!Beer selection also very good. Local brewery ontap!

Lovely pub, very cosy. Had live music on which consisted of one singer and guitar. Was pleasant background music rather than a show. Really enjoyed it.
