Review on food is a bit false, as they don’t offer meals. But pub snacks, you can’t go wrong.As for the staff, the atmosphere, and the beer, you’d be hard pushed to find a better traditional boozer than this place.Caters for all , great selection of ales , spirits and lagers, and I am yet to find a more welcoming pub.Hats off to you all. Great team, great place.

Worst pub in the town. Paltry ale selection. Rude and sarcastic staff. Filthy toilets. An aggressive and unwelcoming clientele. Avoid!

Love the outdoor area, inside is a little bit small, but enjoy going here often. Bar staff are friendly.
Very clean(even the toilets). very well kept ale, though only one on cask. Friendly and welcoming.

Decent little boozer with a very tidy barmaid only quibble is it needs to push its appeal to a younger crowd the town is crying out for a place for younger locals to go and the only other place is a back alley embarrassment.
