I know they'd been closed for 2 weeks, but didn't live up to the reviews.

Dropped into this Cafe with my 2 grown up daughters and was starving as we had driven from London....Lovely cosy cafe yes...busy yes....Polite staff yes we found a seat and began ordering.....No Hash browns.."we don't sell them" (we were offered chips) No Mushrooms, again "we don't sell them" No Tinned Tomatoes....Sorry we don't sell them? Really I thought all Cafe's sold these "extras" anyway we had their breakfast which was very nice to be fair and a nice cuppa tea....with some tiny little improvements this could be the best cafe in Dereham..

Good food and service.

Unfortunately under staffed on a bank holiday. Lovely setting and will develop into a wonderful place. Will visit again just for the peaceful lakeside position. Big menu choice.

We decided to give this cafe a 2nd visit after a very disappointing 1st visit. First visit involved listening to the father and daughter arguing for the duration of our visit whist we sat outside waiting for our food order. Very basic food, nothing home cooked, frozen and convenience by the looks of things. As it was a new venture we decided on a 2nd visit to see if things had improved. No cakes or sweet treats to go with our coffee which I have to say was so strong I couldn’t drink it. Seems pointless advertising yourself as a kitchen cafe when you can’t even provide the basics to go with a hot drink. Lesson learnt….if the 1st visit disappoints don’t bother going back!

I had heard great things about this cafe, and was disappointed with the level of service and food. It was also cold and damp, my coat was damp when I put it back on. Other customers had foreign bodies in scone and waited nearly an hour for his meal. Hoping this just a glitch.
Lovely breakfast, as alwaysParking: Plenty of parking
