A beautiful little Pub with a very friendly welcome and a good atmosphere, we arrived on a Friday evening and found a table and the pub began to fill and was a surprisingly vibrant and lively little local by the time we got food in. The food was great and the service was prompt and friendly, you really couldn’t want for more on a Friday night out with friends.

Wonderful traditional pub. Thanks to fantastic landlord Chris. Staying in the village for New Year. Popped in on NYE and had a wonderful time with Chris and and some fabulous locals. Felt very welcomed indeed. Sadly didn’t eat here this time. Will do so next visit. Cheers!

The secret to happiness, they say, is surrounding yourself with happy people... Or spending an evening at The Jolly Farmers, which amounts to the same thing.Even before you step inside, you feel welcome. The atmosphere is everything you want from a pub. And the fact you notice yourself relax and smile shows actually what a rare thing that is.While so many others in Norfolk now feel the pressure to ruin a beautiful old pub by adding the warning flag, 'gastro' (a byline for eye-watering prices in a soulless annex restaurant) they just get it right here: informal, uncomplicated and unpretentious, but ever-so friendly and the high-quality food is lovingly prepared. It's honestly priced, too - another rare thing. It's a family-friendly, sit-where-you-like place (There's no booking so don't leave it too late - but they usually squeeze everyone in.)The menu is exactly what you want. Don't expect the indecision of a thousand choices; there's a specials board. Everything on it is enticing and the drinks will hit the spot.Whether you start with excellent ale to go with a big basket of whitebait, and progress to a sensational wine from a vinyard barely a mile away to pair with the best seabass ever tasted, there's nothing not to like. And do not leave without at least sharing the sensational chocolate cheesecake over a pub game - your spirits will be lifted for a long time after coming here.Basically, my faith in pubs is renewed. Thank you, Jolly Farmers!

Brilliant pub. Very friendly staff, warm and friendly atmosphere, delicious food, reasonably priced, local wine available. Definitely recommend.

A lovely pub with a warm welcome. Great cider on offer. The food is average and come in small portions. Go for a drink but not the food.

We did not eat as we arrived too late but other customers said it was great. The service from Susie and the team was fantastic and i would highly recommend this hidden gem in North Norfolk

Chris and his son served me and my family of 4 along with alovely waitress. They were all very friendly. If you prefer the "local" pub feel where everyone smiles and is chatty, this is the place. Food is reasonably priced for location and was delicious! Would definitely visit again. Tom Raby.

Best pub in north west Norfolk.Chris and his team are awesome. What would make the place even better is more locally sourced beers and for me to live closer to it

Such a warm welcome as always. Locals are so friendly. We always eat there when in Norfolk. Great service .

Lovely local pub. Very friendly landlord and great tasty food and very reasonably priced too . We had meals for about £10 each.Note - food is provided and you pay separately by a lady who uses the kitchen. All in all very impressed. Lots of friendly and happy faces makes for a lovely evening and social setting!

This is a great little pub. It's not a gastro pub, just a great pub to pop and have a drink and a chat ?

Incredibly rude landlady. Lovely landlord. Unfortunately the appalling atmosphere that the landlady creates ruins everything.

Lovely atmosphere at this pub. No loud music or sport on the television. Delicious meal from the Thai pop up this evening. A hidden gem!

Lovely 'local' - very welcoming to us visitors. Good beer and basket meals. I gorged myself on some rather excellent whitebait.
