It was a nice old pub, we were passing through. Which we had lunch, nice food, the hand cut chips excellent. The only thing, was we had to ask for cutlery after we got our lunch. And l thought having a baby changing table on the wall in the ladies toilet itself on the left had side. Very strange.

A great pub/hotel. Very good atmosphere & friendly staff. Plenty of character, dog friendly & ideal village location. Lots of seating inside & out with a small children's play area. The rooms are well laid out & not too small - we had our dog with us ?.As this will become one of our local pubs, we look forward to many more visits.Great menu choices & breakfast.

We came here as a work group and having never visited before I was really impressed. They had a lovely beer garden, which was full when we arrived, and the inside was decorated lovely and felt spacious. There was vegetarian/vegan options which was delicious. Food was well priced and every person there thought there meal was excellent. I will visit again.

Had a meal the other day with my parents and my children and it was lovely. Thank you, I'd recommend it as a visit and as everything was so nice I'm sure staying over would be too.

Friend’s came up for lunch, which didn’t disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection, the fish and chips were the best my friend had ever had ! Great atmosphere, staff were very accommodating, not rushed and clean toilets. Our dogs were even welcome.

Stayed last night - as we were visiting Thetford Forest for a concert. Great communication from booking…. As we needed to confirm we could get back in after the concert! Lovely smart room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Will come back again - great location to explore Suffolk. Lovely village

Had Sunday lunch here on a weekend away for my mums birthday, there was a group of us, including children, I have to say we had impeccable service and most importantly the food was fantastic. A great choice for both food and drink, if we are ever that way again we will be back. Thank you.

Beautiful old establishment, friendly staff and lovely room.Slight bit of noise from downstairs but to be expected with it been a old building.
