We got a large set for two so we could try a bit everything and the whole experience was rather underwhelming.The biggest disappointment were chicken wings - they tasted like they were pre-boiled and then quickly covered with some sauce. They certainly were not grilled. Brisket was cooked well and was not though but it didn't have too much flavour. American style brisket should have some rub - this one had none. Pulled pork was very good. Everything else was ok.All in all it wasn't bad but far from great.

As we missed a train by a minute we decided to stop and eat here, this choice did not disappoint. We ate on the platform so we could have our bikes with us. Ordered the cheese and bacon burger and I have to say it was the best tasting burger I’ve had in a very long time simple as that. (The burger does come with added salad and piclkles etc but we don’t like them) Very reasonable priced would definitely recommend.

We ate at The Smokehouse in 2019 prior to Covid and really enjoyed it. Visited again on this visit to The Broads and were very disappointed, had a variety of dishes and none of them were very good - maybe a change of chef, meats were tough and fatty and most side dishes were sub standard and cold. Such a shame, could be good but we won’t go again.

Incredible smoke house burgers! American diner vibes with an extensive smokehouse menu of smoked meats, burgers, shakes and much more, I had the double stacked American special and it was amazing, hand made brisket patties, smoked bacon and lashings of American cheese. You can even take a seat on the scenic railway platform. Great selection of drinks, massive gin and vodka selection. A must for that American burger diner experience right in the heart of the broads!!Oh and all burgers are half price on Mondays!!!!

Wow. I will be back and starve myself for a few days first. The food is amazing and the portions big!! Very friendly staff. It's such a lucky find!! I showed pictures to family and friends and now everyone wants to go. It is a little odd in location. You park to the sude of the station but I noticed it's also on a popular walk. You head towards the platform but it's up the ramp and to the side. Possibly the stations old control room! I really loved it. I dont know how accessible it is as we had stairs to traverse and the bench seating is a little tight ( to me) but comfy once sat so if you are disabled or in a wheel chair please call them first. They do takeaways too.

Absolutely fantastic meals! 3 of us went twice on our 4 day break. Very reasonable prices, excellent staff. We had the burgers on the 1st night which were amazing. The next time we went we had the sharing plate for 3, it should be called the sharing plate for 5! Fantastic!!

All the food we had was spot on (6 of us and sorry can't remember what anyone else had I had chicken burger basically) presented well and the Chef even came out to see if the ribs were good. Service great but table too small for 6 adults, only downfall

Very friendly waiting staff ,great on arrival. Great ambience. Lovely booth type seating arrangements. Actual quality of the food was really nice very high standard for a smoke house did not disappoint our expectations when sometimes smoke houses do let you down. Portions were huge we had a sharing platter for three but there was far too much food so we had to take away a doggy bag for breakfast the next morning. Only negative thing to say is that the sweetcorn was very wet and not dry and crispy the way you’d expect sweetcorn to be on the cob. Great value for money and a fun time was had by all.

Fantastic place for food, Platter for three is more than enough.Home made BBQ sauce was amazing, all meat was cooked so well it just fell apart in mouth.Waitress was friendly, welcoming and attentive.Hardshake banana and salted caramel with a shot of vanilla vodka is a must have.

The service was good. The menu very American. The quality of the dishes was good ( some steak somewhat overdone but we were warned. ) paper towel for serviettes and crowded seating could be improved
