The friendly, helpful service needs to be recognised - it's a delight to visit Costa Hardwick Road - the staff are quick, polite; everything constantly tidied and cleaned. A pleasure to go there.

What is it about the attitude to customers at this new Costa branch? Surly, unsmiling staff there today. If they don’t like customers, why work there? They could learn some lessons from the delightful Costa staff in Swaffham.

Super service from counter staff. The lovely friendly girl on the counter was excellent and a real asset to the team. The coffee and toastie were delicious. Unfortunately we witnessed 2 staff visiting the toilet wearing full aprons. It may be me, but I don’t find this particularly hygienic.

Called here Sunday afternoon 13th November 2022. Drinks were good. Asked when ordering if could have table cleaned, told yes and when my order was ready asked if been cleaned, told it had but when i got to the table it was still a mess, wasnt happy.

I must say that I am surprised at all the previous negative reviews. Perhaps we were just buoyant at finding a coffee oasis on a miserable, wet day, but we found this branch of Costa to be clean, tidy and efficient. Other than that, it did exactly as it says on the tin, and we enjoyed our coffees and our visit.

Just called in and told only 9 people allowed so one of us must leave, including staff only 6 people in store. East European girl very rude. If I wasn’t so desperate for my much loved Cortado and needed to be near the motorway I would have left.... not the usual friendly service at all

Came here for a coffee stop just yesterday, it was busy but that's to be expected at the location, the Hardwick has many supermarkets around it and a lot of fast food places, so even with COVID lockdowns in place, there is a lot of activity in this area. We ordered (according to our receipt) at 12:03 and then waited patiently as per social distancing advice laid out in the store. There were people getting their orders before us who ordered at the till after we had (we ordered just two drinks, one person after us ordered four iced drinks with whipped cream and syrup and sprinkles and received theirs first). At 12:25 (still coffee-less) my fiancé (who was wearing a brightly coloured mask with a skull on it, approached the till to ask if we could please get our drinks, the barista then seemed to have a panic attack and run to a staff area. After about another 5 minutes of total chaos, a different lady came out and shouted across the store that she was 'hsving an issue with a member of staff' and was terribly sorry then stating to my fiancé that she shouldn't be wearing the mask she was. Implying this whole thing was her fault. By this time it's close on 12:40, so they make our drinks (and got the order wrong first time around). Overall abhorrent, inexcusable organisational errors and disgusting customer service. Will save money by never returning. Don't go in on a Sunday lunchtime as the staff are woefully incompetent in all aspects. Had to spend half an hour consoling my fiancé afterwards. 1 star is too many.

Just come over for coffee with my partner for our birthday. Very rude lady at the till with no manners or customer service skills. We do understand it's not an easy time at moment with Covid-19 but some people only use it as an excuse to be rude with customers. The name of this lady is Jacqui very rude never again i will come inside if i see this lady on shift

Store set out well for following COVID guidence. Incredibly slow working through orders. I've been in several other Costa's over the last few weeks and all seemed much quicker. Wasn't asked if we wanted cream on the coffee - got it anyway. There's also a bottleneck where you pick your coffees up leading to 5 people with very little space between them waiting for drinks.......to be joined by a delivery man who was picking up delivery items but basically had to join the group of people waiting for drinks !

We nipped in here for a coffee yesterday and found every staff member to be very rude, they couldn't make customers feel less welcome if they tried. I understand that we are dealing with new working ways in a pandemic, but manners cost nothing. I witnessed the staff very bluntly talking to other customers as if they were an inconvenience too. Needless to say, We drank our coffees very quickly and left. We Will not be back

Having used this costa on three separate occasions on each I have experienced RUDE, dictorial, and offensive manners towards customers. The three girls (especially the pink haired girl), have established a cartel of treating customers who PAY THEIR WAGES, as inconsequental riffraff to be bullied and spoken down to.
