This village fish and chip shop is run by a local family and they are always friendly and helpful. The fish and chips are excellent and you get good portions. I highly recommend them and am a regular for a treat or when we've failed to be organised at the end of a long day ?. Top tip is to ring and book your meal and they'll have it ready for you, piping hot at the time you choose - so you don't have to queue!

Fantastic haddock and chips, perfect batter on the fish. They also have literally the best curry sauce I've ever had from a chippy.

Firstly we were forgot about (locals get served first) 45 minute wait altogether. Order was completely wrong so had to return to the chip shop to have this corrected. Upon writing the review I am on the toilet as whatever I have eaten from this chip shop does not agree with me. We now have a family of four fighting over the bathroom due to this lovely chip shop. Definitely would NOT recommend

Absolutely fantastic food and service. You can tell this is a well loved chippy from the queue outside the shop. Lovely staff , definitely recommend

Reasonably priced but portion sizes weren’t particularly large. Although the food was freshly cooked our 5 min drive back to our cottage meant the batter became rather soggy.

Visited for a take away fish supper on the first day of our stay in Heacham. This place was 5 minutes walk from our cottage so we thought we would give it a try and glad we did. Everything cooked fresh to order. Huge portions of chips. I am veggie and ordered 2 cheese and potato cakes which were good. The others had fish ( 2 cods and 1 plaice) which were all cooked well and good sizes. Friendly people and efficient service. Excellent value as well.

Down at Heacham for a break away with my children and they wanted fish and chips to take back to our caravan. This piece of fish was a large and cost £7. We ordered x 2 large chips and they said they wrapped two large portions together and the picture is below so they were around £6/7 too. Again not what I would call two large bags of chips. Whilst I understand prices are rising this was disappointing and if it wasn’t for hungry children I would have drove back to return the food. Certainly not worth the money and would not recommend or visit this chip shop again, sorry.

Best rated fish & chip shop in the whole area, and was indeed excellent! Everything cooked fresh to order, efficient (we waited max 10minutes), and super friendly staff. And they had pickled onions!! Highly recommended~ well worth a trip.
