Enjoyed our meal here tonight.We intended to just get a takeaway, as we had the kids and dog with us, but the staff were really friendly and allowed us to eat in the conservatory area with the dog.They were very attentive, did some chicken nuggets for my daughter who doesn't like Indian food and even treated the dog to some chicken.The food was nice, and it was all quite reasonable

The two lads that looked after us were great and they engaged with our young children, which they enjoyed.The reason for the poor rating is simply down to the quality of the food. The chicken tikka and lamb tikka starters were both dry and overcooked.I ordered a balti and asked for some heat, but nothing crazy. I ended up with undercooked onions and peppers, dry lamb chunks and a very bland sauce.Its the first time in my life I haven't finished a curry.My wife had a Korma...... Anyway, apparently the chicken in that was bone dry too.The dishes also came out remarkably quickly after ordering, which isn't always a bad thing, but makes me wonder how much food is sitting in the kitchen already cooked waiting to be heated?I want to reiterate that the service was excellent, couldn't fault it, but the food.ledt a lot to be desired.

We ordered 3 different curries that all tasted the same, pure sugar! When we enquired we were told they made vegan curry with sugar rather than cream because they had another big vegan party in (we aren't vegan!). So we all had to have the same curry base... Sugar Korma! The management did then not accept this and came out shouting. We weren't offered a different curry or any reconciliation for the uneaten food. The food was horrible mostly but the attitude towards a complaint was disgusting.

I've eaten from the Spice Garden on multiple occasions, but today was absolutely terrible, I ordered king prawn madras, it consisted of 6 shrimps in a watery sauce, my wifes dinner wasn't much better

We often come here and have always enjoyed the food but tonight the food was exceptional, great service too. Food was presented very well, freshly cooked and meat was tender and not dry. Very reasonably priced and will definitely be going back. Well done to the new chef

Lovely Pan Asian cuisine served by friendly team. Joy made us feel very welcome. I come from Bengal and wanted the meal extra spicy, and this was beautifully achieved. Especially loved the lamb tikka biryani and the saag paneer. You must try the duck dishes and the yummy keema naan. Would definitely recommend.

pre ordered a home delivery early afternoon for an 20.15 delivery. Order was confirmed by email but at 20.45 still not arrived, when i phoned i was told driver was 5 mins away. Delivery arrived at 21.05 -and cold I had prepaid for this food and obviously scared about re-heating rice and chicken - but looking at the food quality i decided not to try. Phoned the restaurant asking for a refund but answerphone was on - left my home number for them to ring back, but still waiting. Very unhappy.

Having found out our b+b wasn't doing evening meals, we decided to have a Indian. With a choice of just two nearby I chose this one after reading reviews. We couldn't fault the meal, service and price and will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Ordered a takeaway, food was ready within 20 minutes and was fresh upon pick up. Sadly it lacked flavour. Have had many better Indian takeaways in the past.

We stumbled upon this fab restaurant last night whilst unsuccessfully looking for a pub that served food on a Tuesday. We were tired and hungry and couldn’t believe our luck to discover it was a restaurant as well as a take-away. We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and the food was delicious. This is our first visit to Heacham and we will definitely be returning to the Spice Garden on our next visit. Very good value for money too.
