Sunday lunch with friends. Very friendly place. Fast service, the roast was only ok due to amount of vegetables for 4 people being very poor. Other tables did not seem to have the issue. Still would recommend

We visited last night with our son and dog, we were met by very friendly staff indeed, who straight away gave our dogs treats and brought a bowl of water for him, we got such a lovely welcome, especially considering it was nearly last orders for food, we weren't rushed at all. The food was delicious, all obviously home made, we had the nachos to start, really good chilli, then we had prawn linguine, lasagna and fish and chips, it really was great food, served by great staff who could not have made us all feel more welcome, thoroughly recommend you try it.

We all had a absolute yummy dinner yesterday, fish and chips was perfect, so we all came back today for the best roast we have eaten in years! Pork, turkey and beef was AMAZING, tender, veg AMAZING, huge Yorkshires! Fantastic! Staff was really friendly and helpful especially Elenor our waitress, so happy and friendly. You must come here to try. Even gave my dog treats,cuddles and a bowl of water.. lovely pub to visit. Will definitely come back again! Highly recommended.

Had the best Sunday lunch ever in this lovely dog friendly pub! Came here last night for a meal which was delicious, so we came back for Sunday lunch. Simply the best! Lovely, friendly staff, especially Eleanor who was brilliant. Gave our dog lots of love, water and even treats. Can’t recommend this pub enough, can’t wait to come back ?

We called in as very local "steak and burger house" had ran out of Steak and Burgers..so drove down the road defalted and found thia gem. 1st impressions, the place looked empty and a little run down outside, (5pm) we walked in and was greeted with politeness and a table to accomodate 6.Staff were very friendly and accomodating even with a large family and baby. The food was exceptional. Good portions, good old fashioned home cooked food. Fantastic selection on Menu suitable for all ages.We were just local holiday makers but would recommend this over any other local restaurant. Will be holidaying here again and will be coming back.
