The food was good however there just weren't enough staff working. We waited over an hour from finishing our main course to be served our dessert. With three children to keep entertained this sort of ruined my birthday outing. ?

We had the most awesome lovely Valentines meal last night, all three courses were a delight, amazing top quality food. The staff were very welcoming, smiley and all very good at their jobs indeed, every member of staff work together perfectly as a team and looked after us so well. The Farmhouse is now on the list of one of our favourite little gem spots to eat and or just have a drink after a dog walk in Shouldham Warren. The look and style of the entire establishment and all the seating you can see has had a great deal of thought put in with no expense spaired. A free vend pool table in the Hay loft with lovely lounge seating with very nice decor and lighting was a lovely little touch to have one last drink after our meal. Thanks again and see you soon ?

We visited this location for Sunday lunch which was very good. Hot chicken and lots of different vegetables. We spent 2 and half hours taking our time and nobody rushed us. We will be going there again.

Very clinical feeling, not a lot of atmosphere. They only accept card payments, but the food is excellent. Could be a gold mine, its a shame.

Terrible food. Overpriced set Christmas menu. When we booked we wasn’t informed that we wouldn’t have a choice. Friendly staff but not very comfortable or confident. Nice clean restaurant but no atmosphere. Empty for a Saturday night. Totally

The rooms did not live up to the website photos and description. The hotel consists of a set of lodges (think old scout hut) that are subdivided. Not great soundproofing between rooms. Comfortable bed but a bit cramped with limited space for a suitcase. Bathroom clean but small with no space for a toilet bag.Dinner was good standard pub food. Very good cooked breakfast but non-cooked options a little limited.

We had the afternoon tea. We had a good choice of food, which included tea or coffee. The scones were very nice. There was too much to eat, so we were given a takeaway box.Would we go again?Yes, we would.Well done.

Very dog friendly place. They sell frozen doggie treats.Good value Mon/Tues lunch menu.It would be great if you could pop in anytime for coffee and cake or a sandwich - rather than having set times for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner etc because it's the only place in the area. I think you're missing an opportunity there. The burger wasn't bad, but would benefit from some seasoning and ramping up the deliciousness factor. Crumble was excellent!

Popped in to the restaurant for the first time . The food was fantastic . Fresh , well seasoned and looked great . One of the best Sunday dinners I’ve had . One small niggle it was cold in the restaurant. Please just get the heating on a while before guest . Will definitely go

Stopped here for work purposes, lovely rooms, and well heated, staff very friendly and breakfast is out of this world especially the scrambled egg. Downham Market a short drive away with local amenities and weatherspoons. Definitely recommend this farmhouse to stop atRooms: Clean tidy and very comfortable

We stayed a night in a chalet (2 double rooms, lounge and kitchen) and had a great time. The chalet was clean and very warm (we had to turn down the heating!) and as we were detached, it was very quiet. We didn't eat there in the evening as the menu is restricted early in the week and we might have been the only people in the restaurant so found a nice pub 5 mins drive away. We enjoyed bar drinks when we got back though and a pool game or two.Our dog had a great time as well, the staff were amazing with her, she was even given a doggy ice-cream! Thank you!Overall, a lovely place and we'd definitely stay again, for longer, if the chalet was available!
