We enjoyed a very good meal last night. Great food and wine and excellent service. Great to see our local pub, hotel, restaurant greatly improved. The staff are welcoming and friendly but above all exceptionally professional.

Had a lovely overnight stay. Bed was so comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in room were excellent with biscuits. Didn't use the bar but we had breakfast before we left and the quality and service was great. Very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again. A little out the way though.Rooms: We opted for superior double which was a lovely size. Bed very comfortable. Only downside was the access to the shower. It was above the bath and it was quite precarious to get in and out. Anyone less mobile would have struggled.

Lovely room very friendly staff the only problem is the restaurant does not open on Monday evening so had to eat elsewhere which was a pain as you have to drive The breakfasts are absolutely fantastic so much choice whish I was staying longer to try some of the other combinationsRooms: All very new furniture and decoration wonderfulFood & drinks: Fantastic breakfasts

I stayed here as a last minute business trip as a solo traveler. The Kings Head Country Hotel is nestled in a beautiful village and in wonderful surroundings. Big car park to the rear. Staff were very welcoming on check in. Check in was seamless. Bedroom was spotlessly clean and warm. The food was delicious. Great choice and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend staying and dining here.

This is one of the best hotel I have stayed, the staff go above and beyond, the breakfast is beautiful and cooked to order with a great selection and the rooms are beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel 5* from me.

We had booked four rooms for a family wedding nearby. Rooms were spacious, beds comfy, staff friendly and breakfasts good. However my elderly parents were in Room Four as this was only room with walk in shower, to get to this room you had two steps up, short landing and one step down there were NO grab rails at appropriate places nor in the shower which in this day and age I would expect.Safety: Hotel should invest in grab rails on appropriate places. Also a stair lift would have been useful for disabled access.

We have stayed here several times before and always enjoyed our visit. However, on this occasion we felt that several things need attention. To start with the positives, our room was large, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. We also had a sofa and armchair. The young man on reception when we arrived was very pleasant and welcoming. Now for the negatives. They are still without a chef so no evening meals. We had already made other plans so did not affect us but there are no other eating places in the immediate area for those not wanting to venture out in the evening. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. There seemed to be only 2 staff doing the serving and reception and they seemed very stressed. One said it was because everyone was coming down at the same time. Why not have a staggered system which a lot of hotels now have. You book your slot the night before. I poured milk into my coffee and it immediately curdled. I asked for more and there was no apology, neither was I offered a fresh pot of coffee. Service was definitely lacking as the 2 women seemed unable to cope. We stay at money hotels and, for what they charge, they definitely need to up their game

4th vist in 2 years all staff very friendly and helpful great choice of breakfast and served efficientlyAll rooms clean and comfortable. When they find a chef for lunches and evening meals this will make it a complete package but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants in area so no problem. Thanks to Lisa and team for making us welcome and Comfortable.

Supposed to been open, as i wanted to book an evening meal for 6 nights last, but apparently 'hotel' was open but all the chefs and waiting on staff were off ill,so no food being prepared!!!??? Wonder if the people who were staying there had food?? We found it so strange. So we had food at the wonderful little village cafe/stores opposite, and what a delightful welcome we received from the gentleman, highly recommend the village cafe/store.Noteworthy details: Terrible

Last minute decision to go away for bank holiday w/e , we needed 3 rooms and this hotel came up so we booked it - it looked fine and we found it to be great , large clean rooms , friendly staff and probably the best breakfast we’ve all eaten in a long long time .

We had a 3 night stay last week, extremely enjoyable.Unfortunate that their restaurant was closed in the evening due to staff shortages but the service we got for breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay again hopefully they will have full staff by then, many thanks David Dovey & Linda .???

unfortunately the last 2 years I have stayed here the restaurant has been closed for both lunch and dinner service! as this is the only pub in the village this seems ridiculous, especially as we have all travelled from Kong and far to stay here. the breakfast service was also atrocious. understaffed and under services despite prices increased! I would stay elsewhere!

Had a one night stay in late April 2023. Lovely village location and very quiet. Main reason for booking was the hotel is dog friendly. No issues with the dog and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing with good quality food and generous portions. Would recommend to anyone staying in North Norfolk and visiting local beaches which are amazing plus Sandringham is on the doorstep.
