We decided on the off chance we would try and get a table for a Sunday roast, without booking in advance.We arrived and were seated immediately and ordered our food. I would say the food arrived within 20 minutes of us being there, enough time for a drink and a chat.We had a roast platter, half chicken and half beef. The beef was delicious and the selection of vegetables was lovely. The portions are enormous, we didn't have room for dessert but the menu looked lovely and varied. We were really pleased with our meal this afternoon, thank you. We will be coming back.

The food on the platter was fantastic quality The portions were massive (only go if you are hungry ) .As the amount is fantastic we could not rate this resterant enough .Please give it a try you will be 100% satisfied. Great little country pub with a big welcome. Sunday roast platter for two people was huge and really tasty. Couldn't eat it all so we were offered a takeaway box for the leftovers which we enjoyed next day with our BBQ ?

The staff are absolutely lovely very helpful and friendly.Wholesome pub grub, excellent portions and a varied menu that changes daily.High recommend this great country pub.

Absolutely fantastic service, and food. We chose a roast pork platter for Fathers Day and were not disappointed. Beautiful pork that was cooked to perfection, paired up with lovely fresh veg and all the trimmings. Homemade apple sauce was simply delicious. Oh and the chocolate brownie desert well that was next level. Highly recommended

The pub was very quiet early on a Saturday evening, we received a warm welcome , we booked this place based on other Trip Advisor reviews and expected outstanding food, I ordered a pie, so disappointed, it was basically a chicken and mushroom casserole in a pot with a square of puff pastry plonked on top - definitely not a pie, the food was tasty but based on other reviews not the quality we expected.

When with 5 friends all had different meals and desserts everyone was wonderful, cant praise the staff enough so nice and friendly had a good laugh and good banter, when bill came every one said worth every penny we were delighted, we will be going back that for certain well done 10/10

Decided to have a Saturday lunch here and was not disappointed. It was freshly cooked, well presented and delicious. We had scamp and chips and hunters chicken and chips (which was the best I've ever had). I just wish we'd had room for dessert! Maybe next time.....? Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

We’re staying in Congham for the week and was looking for a roast on Sunday, I called but it went to voicemail saying they were fully booked today. I saw the reviews and desperately wanted to try the roast! On the way back from hunstanton I stopped in around 2:30 on the off chance they’d had a cancellation, Stacey said they were fully booked but could fit us in at 6:30 which was perfect. As you’ll read in the reviews below, food is served on a platter which serves 2-3 people and has anything and everything you can wish for! We went for chicken as we had our daughter with us which was perfectly cooked and juicy, in my daughters words they were the “best roast potatoes ever!!!!” Service was great and really welcoming from all. Value wise I think it’s incredible, a platter to share two rounds of drinks and desserts came to £50!! Will definitely be back again at some point

Our first visit to The Three Horseshoes post Covid and we were not disappointed. There were 7 of us celebrating my wifes birthday and we had 3 meat platters (pork, beef and chicken) between us. All 3 were hot and tasty with sauces to accompany each meat. Veg was plentiful and not overcooked. Yorkies were huge and nice and crispy.. The only thing missing was the crackling but I am sure if I had of asked then they would have brought some.. We all had drinks and also just about had room for desserts. We choose Eton Mess , Apple & Rhubarb crumble and Vanilla Cheesecake from the chalk board , all of which were delicious. We never felt rushed and service throughout was excellent and the waitresses seemed genuinely happy to be there. Total bill was £127.00 which we considered very reasonable and we will be returning very soon for more of the same. Thank you to all those who made our birthday meal so wonderful and see you again soon. Simon, Lesley and the rest of the Gibb family.

We visited today with 10 family members and I cannot believe how good the food was. Sunday roasted platter for 2 is amazing, massive, tasty, fresh, cooked perfectly. Excellent value for money. Brilliant service, spotlessly clean. Basically I can’t fault this place in any way (and I’m picky). Well done to the owners and staff you’ve nailed it !

Lovely meal at The Three Horseshoes, celebrating my brother-in-law’s 50th. This is a beautiful country pub, serving delicious food in a relaxed environment. We all had the Sunday Roast platters, very generous portions, with gluten-free available. Take-away boxes are provided for leftovers- our two cats certainly enjoyed the pork when we got home!! Staff are friendly and helpful, thank you to Stacy for looking after us. If you are thinking of visiting, just read the reviews- you will not be disappointed!! Looking forward to our next visit!!!

My wife and I visited the Three Horseshoes pub in Roydon, Norfolk, Saturday the 23rd of April(2022). The food was amazing, very tasty, well presented and served piping hot. The waitresses were excellent, polite and friendly. Well done to ALL at the Three Horseshoes.
