First time I went this chip shop was in 2013 the fish was dumped on top of the chips and it was absolutely greasy. I decided to try it again 10 years later and nothing has improved. (Only ordered chips this time, and half weren't cooked and mega greasy still.) Shall never go back again.

(2 weeks ago )The worst Fish and chips we've ever had ,that bad could not be eaten one bite rest went in the bin .The chips looked like scraps ,pale cold , Fish was watery, cold batter/coating was disgusting , ? Never Again !!!!! Waste of money

"Unfortunately I can NOT, recommend this place.Ordered, "Cod" and it was Coley" it was double check by a sea fisherman.Plus we have worked/run a fish and chips outlet.We regular go to different fish & chip shops. To see how is the best.fish1chips2

Was the worst chips iv ever had infact the worst food we ever had. This used to be a great chippy. Sausage was burnt chips were disgusting.... service was appalling do not waist your time or money.Running that places into the ground such a shame as its a great location in town an used to always be bissy.... never again

Very poor chips. Some weren't cooked properly. This used to be such a good chippy with people queueing outside the door. It's a shame but I wouldn't recommend it!

The most dreadful chips I have ever had..and the spring roll was not chinese,it was more like a pasty. The staff were indifferent and didn't engage at all..we will not be going back

My partner went in tonight 25/05/23 and went to order a portion of cod bites or cod to be told £8 for a small cod or £8 for cod bites! With this cost of living crisis I think it’s scandalous so he opted for the cheap white fish! And we also got a regular chips ,fish cake and battered sausage! The fish was dripping with oil And tasted strange ! The chips had black bits on them , the sausage wasn’t too bad but over all the only good thing about our meal was the curry sauce …least to say I’ve not stopped feeling sick since and I’ve thrown my guts up! I won’t be coming back to this fish and chip shop again

Chips were really awful today. So many with black bits in them. Chucked half away. Came back today. 5th of May. Fish absolutely disgusting. Chips were horrible. Never ever again. ?

Our first visit today and we really enjoyed our food! The service was quick and friendly, the food was fresh, hot and good quality. We will definitely be visiting again!
Had sausages chips and curry sauce. Was fantastic. Will be going again.

I ordered fish and chips, and a portion of sausage and chips.The gentleman in the shop was putting fresh fish and sausage in the fryer,I thought brilliant!, but alas no we ended up with fish and sausage that had been left out. On the counter great ?
