Ate here with my family twice whilst on holiday in the area. Both times were great. Lovely, friendly staff, great food and generous portions. Decent beer for the husband too!

Friendly service and simple clean room with en-suite. Packed breakfast with muesli bar, porridge, apple and fruit juice. Room (4) was surprisingly quiet although in the middle of the town centre there's a fair bit going on in the morning. They warn off possible noise until the pub closes at the weekend as there's live music.Good value and a great base for exploring all that North Norfolk has to offer. There's a food market in North Walsham on Thursdays

Lovely place to eat and drink...whilst didn't spend the night so can't rate the rooms..it was friendly..not to packed...but by far from empty..big spacious open areas..outside smoking area..and relatively normal prices..no complaints

Lovely big garden, with plenty undercover area, where the dog was welcome. Lots of fuss and treats for the dog and lovely food for us

In the centre of the town this bar/restaurant could not be better positioned. There is limited on site parking for guests, two bars, bar food and a partly covered outside area. Our room was comfortable with en suite and as part of our deal a limited prepacked breakfast was placed in the room daily.Being at the rear of the hotel our room overlooked the outside seating area and some may find the noise disturbing. Our problem was with the constant beat of the music from the bar which could go on past closing time only to start again early the next morning when the staff arrived to prepare for the next day.Plus points were the friendly staff who went out of the way to find secure storage for our bikes.

What a fantastic find. A diamond of a place. The hosts were wonderful! Stopped here after watching Bryan Adams at Blickling Estate. Fab show and got to finish the night singing Summer of 69 on Kareoke. Comfortable quirky room. Great nights sleep. Everything you need!

Stayed overnight as part of an East coast cycling holiday. Kings Arms is a great value for money stay. Room was fine with a decent shower and our burgers in the pub were delicious. All staff were super helpful and friendly and were more than happy to lock our bikes away overnight. Glad we chose to stay here.

My office booked me here for two days as I had work to do nearby. When I arrived, no parking was available even though the “hotel” advertised parking. I had to pay for parking nearby, and when I checked in, all my details, including card details were written down on a piece of paper which is quite concerning. The room itself was filthy with flies. The lights didn’t work, and I couldn’t find anyone to tell. I couldn’t try the food as the kitchen was out of order; I had the Chinese next door, which was equally horrendous. To make matters worse, I banged my head when leaving the room as the entrance was low with no warning. The following day, I promptly checked out and found somewhere else.

From the moment we arrived Amy was extremely helpful, even finding a secure place to store our tandem cycle overnight. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and well appointed. We ate in the bar and the food was great with generous portions and all reasonably priced.Had a lovely stopover while cycle touring in Norfolk, many thanks.

Called into this pub to kill time waiting for the fish & chip shop to open. I didn’t like the look of it from outside but it was a cold day so needed somewhere warm to kill 20 minutes. Carpets were filthy! I couldn’t wait to leave £1.70 for half a glass of unfizzy soda water is daylight robbery! Even if there was 1 slice of lemon in it.

Had a great time during our stay there was an impromptu rock a Billy band playing on the Saturday night, who were great. The carpark was a bit small but that said, we had no problems parking during our stay. My only bug bear was that I had to give my bank card details which were just written on a piece of paper (anybody could have got their hands on) but I was assured it would be locked in the office and touch wood, almost 2 weeks on and there have been no suspect transactions on my account.
