We arrived here by chance after a long journey, looking for an evening meal. We were greeted with the friendliest of receptions from the staff and customers alike. We thought the food was excellent, obviously home-cooked and well served. Top marks and thanks to the staff!Vegetarian options: The vegetable lasagne was very tasty!

To be perfectly honest! Everything was fine. But not enough staff. Had to wait to be served at the bar! Had to fight way out to get to bar. So it was ok, but could have been better.

A very warm friendly welcome from the barman! Who proceeded to touch my heart by his utter kindness and empathy to a regular customer in need of support.Food, the homemade steak pie was superb.Will definitely visit again. ?
We had the steak pie with mash potatoes, veg and gravey. The food was pipping hot and it was a proper pie with the meat inside a full pastry not just on the top.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent too. Can't vouch for the beer on this occasion as I was driving. But my wife said the beer was good..Wheelchair accessibility: If you're in a wheelchair they have a ramp that can be put down at the main entrance.
