Asked for super quick service and they delivered along with great food and drink. Lovely thank you.

Our starters weren't fully cooked.Mains were very average. We won't return. They need to improve the food quality. The location helps the restaurant survive in my opinion, but that's all.Expensive for the poor quality of food and service.

There were ten of us in the precooked party who were impressed by the speed and efficiency we were served despite us coming at a busy time. Special thanks to the lovely Vivian who served us and to all those involved in cooking our

Went for lunch today. Unfortunately.I asked for the gluten free menu, which was provided, it didn't have prices listed, not sure why.Anyway, I selected a gluten free pizza. I ate a slice and a few bites of a second slice, and thought ot tasted a little doughy, I checked the base, which was still a little raw. Annoying, but it happens, not a big deal. I alerted the server and made him aware that my pizza was a little raw, he quickly took it and said "no problem, I'll sort it". Great attitude, I thought. Then my pizza was returned. They hadn't made me a new one, which I wouldn't have been upset by, had it been nice. Instead, they burnt the pizza I had returned.I always feel awkward going out to eat, as a celiac it's often awkward. But I've never been made to feel quite like this. It goes without saying, I did not eat any more of thr pizza, and left very hungry and disappointed.

I went for lunch with my partner. It was a Saturday, so we expected it to be busy, but it wasn’t busy enough to justify the lack of service. We have experienced a similar issue before with this particular branch in Norwich. We waited about 20 minutes after being seated for the waiter to take our order. We told him we were ready to order everything and he excused himself as soon as he took our drinks order and disappeared for a while. The ordering itself was a slow process, as the waiter was really slow at adding it all onto his device, and we had to repeat it a few times, he still missed an item. The food itself was okay, nothing special, as can be expected from a chain restaurant. The manager looked stressed, constantly speaking on her phone, clearing tables and letting new people in. Not once did I see her smile. We waited what seemed like forever to get the bill and once we had it the waiter spent most of his time in the kitchen area and never came back over to take the payment. We eventually went up to the bar and asked to pay which took us another age as the card machine wasn’t working. I will avoid this particular place in the future but I will give Ask another chance elsewhere as I’ve had positive experiences with them.

Its a 50/50 really. One day we went in, the service was amazing, mainly because of one waiter, who was jolly and fast. However the second time we went, the staff were laughing and on their phones whilst around 3 tables were waiting. So overall the food is amazing but some of the staff is absolutely terrible.

We took our daughter here to celebrate her 19th birthday, we found the staff to be very helpful, attentive and very efficient. They displayed a wide knowledge of the menu which greatly aided us in our choices. The food was prepared and served in a very timely manner and tasted delicious. Thank you for adding to a special day.Parking: Once parked in Chantry just literally step out of the building at street level to find Ask Italian outside the main entrance.

Lovely restaurant. Always feel welcome. We usually go at lunchtime after we have finished shopping. Prices are very reasonable and the food is always amazing we just have to stay for desert. 100% recommend the tiramisu. On a handful of occasions, we have gone in the evening with family and it has again been the same experience. Staff are polite and friendly food is always cooked beautifully and the restaurant itself is just beautiful to be in. The children's meals are very reasonably priced and great potion sizes too. And my children love to colour the menus.

Its been awhile since I have eaten at Ask, but decided to return while shopping in Norwich. We were welcomed at the door into a clean, bright friendly atmosphere. Our lovely servers poured us a free shot of lemonade while we looked over the menu.Great cocktails and a good selection of popular wines. Hats off to the barperson who made a mean strawberry daiquiri .We food came quickly, was hot and tasty. My only niggle would be the chicken escalope was not made with fresh chicken and crumbed like in carluccios but you could tell it was manufactured en mass and sold as a frozen product. It was not a great texture of taste. The chefs cooked everything well and we really did enjoy it all.Had to rush for a train but would have loved to stay for coffee and a few desserts which I loved on there menu. They even sell mini desserts with your coffee.I will have to wait for next time!I will definitely return ??Vegetarian options: Great range of popular plant based and vegetarian itemsDietary restrictions: All dietary restrictions accomadated for

Went for a catch up with friends one evening. It was busy inside and out due to the lovely weather. We had booked, we had a short wait to be seated (we could see that they were busy so this wasn’t a problem). We we’re shown to our table and given samples of their homemade lemonade (which was delicious). Our waitress, who I didn’t unfortunately didn’t catch the name of, was so friendly and polite, she made an effort to spark a conversation with us. The food was beautiful and so were the drinks (I recommend the elderflower G&T). If you’re a student you can actually get a free round of drinks with the Unidays app at the moment (which I did make use of). The prices were very reasonable and everything was very pleasant!
