“I went here with my parents for my dad's birthday to get breakfast! The food was delicious, great value, and the staff were so friendly! They put a candle on my dad's black pudding which was super sweet and funny! 10/10 will probably bring my boyfriend here at some point. Also the toffee apple warmer was so yummy, big fan.”

“Full marks all round for a wonderful bed & breakfast. We stayed in the Garden Room for 2 nights & throughly enjoyed all thatThe Moorhen Guest House had to offer. Super comfy & roomy bed, good shower & delightful room setting. The breakfast choices & quality of food on offer is fabulous. Josie's homemade yoghurt is delicious. The hosts are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. They seem to really enjoy their life as B&B hosts. Looking forward to returning soon.”

“Had a great meal here yesterday. It was the midway point for me and my work colleague to meet up so we decided to have lunch while we were there.
I went old school and had scampi, and she had chilli prawns. The food was really nice....not looking at michelin stars, but there was great flavours, it was impeccably presented and the service that was second to none.
Super clean venue and staff wee absolutely lovely.
Would thoroughly recommend.

I have also been for a roast dinner here a couple of month back and that was an equally great experience - the food & service was brilliant.

“Me and my wife hired the venue for our wedding party. The entire day was flawless. The food was sensational. We had a BBQ and opted for burgers and hot dogs. Many of our guests are from the hospitality industry and the feedback has been amazing. Rose and the team were on top of everything and our expectations were truly exceeded.”

“A lovely bed and breakfast in the centre of Norwich, our room was really nice and the cake was a lovely surprise, my only negative was the amount of time we had to wait for our breakfast, from ordering breakfast to actually getting it was 50 minutes, for a small bed and breakfast this is way to long, also there was only one table of two people who was in front of us, so not really busy, it was a shame as everything else was absolutely lovely”

The coffee was good and I may or may not have devoured the pastry in record time. Definitely one of those spots you stumble on and then keep going back to.”
