“Arrived to see a huge queue out the door. Oh no! But, I'd heard good things, and been forewarned of the daunting queue, so we persevered.

It was a great decision.

The inside is actually enormous compared to what you can see from outside, and everything runs so efficiently, that even a large queue disappears really quickly.

The food was incredible. I had the Beast, and updated to marsala beans. Literally every part of the meal was top quality, and I have to give special credit to the upgraded beans as the best I've ever had. Our party also tried the Eton Mess French toast, which was similarly sublime. I also had the Strawb, which makes me confident that they've got a good selection of interesting and tasty drinks.

“A beautifully decorated restaurant serving a large range of Italian dishes. Food was good but not the best Italian we’ve had. However, perfectly enjoyable.
Service however..… unwelcoming, sarcastic at times, and as if the staff (make) didn’t want to be there. Shame… could be a gem with a little more “hospitality”. Adding service was galling given the lacklustre attitude.”

“Probably one of the best fish and chips we've had for a long time, cooked when you order on entry. Well worth the wait and that wasn't long either, staff were friendly and polite. For a small population it was surprisingly busy locals and visitors can't be wrong. Recommended”

“If you go in they'll do meat based pizzas with dairy free cheese. Their DF cheese has gotten way better.... Still not anywhere near real cheese but better than sh!tting your organs out. Lactose intolerance is rubbish.”
