Usually staff are very pleasant however recently have witnessed some negative interactions with one staff member being quite short with customers, and talking badly about them when returning behind the counter (I quote “I have had enough of them” and, in a condescending manner “When will you be ordering? You can’t sit in here all day I’m afraid”) I would advise potential customers to make trips here brief to avoid such interactions.

Remember all the screens and sanitisation for covid, the insistence of wearing a mask, I never agreed with it all, and yet I still struggle to believe that greggs staff will take the previous customer coins and then go and handle your egg and bacon roll straight after, I don't care...probably good for my immunity. It just still amazes me.Great for a breakfastAnd friendly staff though.Love you, greggs

The most disgusting Greggs we have ever been to. It took about 10 minutes to be served The choice available was poor and what we did have was freezing. There was hardly and savoury or sweet items in the cabinet and this was mid afternoon. The tables were filthy with rubbish left all over the place. There appeared to be weed remnants in the toilet. Heads up the Yum yum lids are not sealed. We picked them up and they fell out onto the floor. Anyone could open the lid and touch them. They should at least be sellotaped down.

Every time I try this particular Greggs I end up having to give up and leave. Never had a problem until they moved to these new premises but now there just doesn’t seem to be enough staff on the tills. It’s rush our breakfast session, customers queuing out of the door and only one person serving. One fiddling for ages with a coffee machine and no one else to be seen. Always seems the same. I ended up giving up as did others in the queue as the waiting time when you need to get to work is unacceptable. I went to St Stephens branch this morning instead. The queue was out of the door BUT three tills open, five people visible and the wait time was around 1 minute if that. Avoid White lion Street branch. All the others in the City are great apart from this one who can not keep up with the queue with no staff.

The food was stone cold, the rubbish bins were overflowing, the tables weren't clean. We went past again a bit later and the bins had been emptied. I think they need more staff at this place, although the staff there are perfectly friendly, they need someone out on the floor cleaning up like they have at McDonald's

Had a sausage roll here and it did not disappoint. There is a wide range of pastries with vegan and vegetarian options too.

Friend was refused access to use the toilet under section 20 of the 1976 local government miscellaneous provisions act toilets should be provided if food or drink is being sold for consumption on the premises ?? Naughty!!

I'd like to thank all staff who work very hard in Greggs of Anglia Square well done!...My only downfall with this place is toilets not always upto standard as I know the staff have to clean these when they can especially if busy.
