Me and my partner love coming here- it’s the Spoons with the best service, quality and waiting times in the city. Today, we witnessed a group harassing a woman outside. Within seconds of us alerting Sherry, a member of staff, to the situation, she had security and a manager on the scene, who managed it professionally and had those people removed from the premises. Sherry was incredible under the circumstances, making us all feel safe and welcome, and deserves a lot of praise.

Attended with my wife and 7 year old daughter, used the app for ordering which was a simple process. Drinks arrived first after just a few minutes, waitress was extremely courteous and friendly.Within 10 minutes, our food arrived and the same lovely waitress asked if we needed any additional condiments. All of the food was piping hot and tasty. My only issue was the beer I selected did have a 'taint to it from the start but I decided not to go to the bar as it was only slight but it did become more apparent the more I had and so I did leave some. I mentioned this to staff when our plates were being cleared just for their info, and the staff member apologised, advised she would check the cellar (as this was a new beer on tap) and offered me a replacement (which I was not expecting as I did not deal with this issue sooner myself) so I just asked for a half which was happily supplied. All in all, a very pleasant experience as I have come to expect from Wetherspoon.

Love this place good food and good value. Not so good today. App not working. How is one person supposed to order at the bar and know what table is going to be empty when you get there?

Lovely Norwich. Great curry and cider in this Wetherspoons. Just opposite the historic cobbled street of Elm Hill. Weather perfect for enjoying it in the garden

Reasonable prices, varied menu, wheelchair and vegetarian friendly..Friendly, helpful staff but service was a bit slow. Desserts a bit disappointing.

My first visit to this Spoons as we usually go to one outside of the city. Very quiet dining area in comparison to my usual rowdy noisy experience. Pleasant attentive staff, fast food delivery. You know what to expect with Wetherspoons food with only very slight variations, depending on whose cooking. Was dissapointed that the skinny chicken seems to have disappeared from the menu. I've eaten that same dish for several years and now it's gone. This time I had to settle for something I didn't like much, hence only 4 stars. If it ain't broke, it don't need fixing Wetherspoons! However, it redeemed itself with a very nice apple crumble which seemed better in this branch. The sticky tables I know is an issue for some. It's the anti bac spray used on the tables, not sludge left by former diners.Having said that, ordering online is easy and convenient. Download the app.Didn't try out the toilets in this branch so can't make any comments on this aspect.

Much better in the daytime for coffee and lunch. Customer service was fast and polite. Large sized with balcony upstairs. Avoid going late at night when it can get rowdy and unpleasant.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Bar staff served our group of 6 two drinks, and decided we'd had too many because we were laughing a lot. Very poor form, would not recommend if you want to stay for more than 1 drink. Idiots running the whole gaff

It's ok for a 'spoon, you know what to expect, cheap but acceptable and refillable coffee, table clean but mysteriously sticky. Interesting rants about covid from Tim Martin in the company magazine.

We deliberately left the dog at home because we know that Dim Tim won't let dogs in the beer garden. But we couldn't use the garden anyway as the 'unpredictable' clientell of wetherspoons had had a punch up and the beer garden was now a crime scene. We went to the pub down the road which in retrospect should have been our choice.

Interesting building and lovely staff but.. Not a busy lunchtime and tables not wiped down. No steaks at all (for the past 3 years apparently). No mashed potato... Hmmm... not impressive for a large pub.

A large traditional Wetherspoons, with plenty of outside seating and a rotating selection of real ales.I've personally found the service friendly and reasonably fast if you order via the app. And the food is decent quality for the price. There are plenty of vegan or vegetarian options, and you can smoke outside. At weekends, The Glasshouse gets very hectic. It's cheap booze in the middle of a city. Go figure.
