been here several times for carverys,today 11th jan 2024,had carvery,meat was nice everything was warm,roast potatoes were not crispy and tasted like they had been reheated.cauliflower cheese was mainly stalks and couldnt taste the cheese,very dissapointed.will think ywice before going again.

Don't order the vegetable & lentil chilli unless you want to go hungry. Whilst it tastes very nice, there is little more than 2 tablespoons. The rice & nachos far outway the main. I am not a vegetarian but do enjoy vegetarian meals, however, it will be a trip to McDonald's on the way home to curb my hunger!

just popped in for carvery 5.15pm. disappointing again.had to ask for potatoes as pots empty ,parsnips were really dry as we're carrots and red cabbage ,had last Yorkshire.clearly the food had been left from lunch service veg dried out and cold as was Yorkshire. potatoes were only fresh thing. For nearly £11 this needs sorting.veg left over or been sitting there for hours needs throwing away .area needs good clean and everything should be fresh and ready for people coming in for evening meal . Don't think that's too much to ask

Really enjoyed my lunchtime roast today, nicely cooked meat and veg, good value for money, lovely airy, atmospheric restaurant.

Slightly disappointed with some of the veg, especially the parsnips and cauliflower . Parsnips we’re abit under cooked and the cauliflower was mostly stalk. And a lack of green veg, i.e. broccoli cabbage kale etc. Apart from that decor was very nice, and staff friendly and pleasant . All in all ok

Nice carvery and atmosphere. Only downside is VERY stingy on the meat, my partner had the large plate and was still tiny slithers. Also choice of veg for a roast not great. But otherwise a nice meal. Would return as would like to try the main menu. Served by Jess who was lovely

Be careful if you have a dog. Booked online and checked they allowed dog. It says they are dog friendly however when we arrived we were unceremoniously told we would have to sit outside or lose the dog !! It was freezing today and although we had coats the food was cold the second it arrived which for a family of 5 meant we basically wasted £50 on food that was barely touched as the gravy congealed within seconds of landing on the plate. Be specific regarding dog friendly Green king stipulate inside or outside etc.

Visited the carvery today with friends, went to the carvery counter and when I’ve been before I’ve asked for an extra slice of meat in place of Yorkshire pudding and stuffing ball, the guy carving was very abrupt and told me on no uncertain terms that there was no substitution, he was very rude. The choice of veg is a bit peculiar, sweetcorn and red cabbage with roast dinner doesn’t excite me at all. If I do decide to return I’ll choose something off the main menu. Such a shame as the waiting and bar staff are so lovely and helpful. This guy let’s the whole team down. He needs to “lose the attitude”.

Quite a few vegetarian and vegan options! The buffalo cauliflower bites were delicious and the vegetarian option for the carvery was amazing !! Staff were super friendly and kind :)
First visit back after Covid. Looked forward to a carvery unfortunately not as good as last visit. Very small amount of meat served with pork being very dry. Parsnips not fully cooked & soft rather than crispy from roasting. Carrots the same. Potatoes not crispy & firm inside. Also didn't see the need to cover all veg with black seasoning. Other than the food service very good, friendly & welcoming team.

Booked a table for 50th birthday party, 16 of us, table was put where I wanted it, near outside playarea, ordered food was told half hr wait, but wasn't that long, food very hot, enjoyable, the cake I supplied came out with candles in and server joined in happy birthday,well looked after by server eibby.

Lovely meal at The Copper Beech, carvery was hot, good choice of meats and fresh veg. Great service and Lauryn our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Visited for the first time today with family and had a lovely sunny meal outside in one of the cosy little huts. Lauryn our server was friendly and bubbly and absolutely superb. Beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere, good quality food and super nice staff, will definitely return soon.
