Lovely, cosy pub, with an airy and light conservatory. Good food/beer selection. Friendly service. Used as a Britstops overnight campervan site.

Comfortable, welcoming and friendly pub, came here on a Saturday evening and had some tasty food and good beers. It is dog friendly and we were allowed to park overnight in our camper. I would recommend it.

Spent a lovely afternoon at this excellent pub. Good atmosphere, busy but not heaving - found a table out of the way we're our two dogs could sleep. Bar staff and locals all really friendly.

This was the first time we had been to The White Horse for a while. Previously the food was average, but they have really upped their game and we had two great meals that were a compliment to the chef. While the prices have risen, the quality has vastly increased meaning it gave good value. We would rather see this than pubs trying to keep food cheap for the sake of it as that doesn't work. Most consumers will pay a little more if the food is good and it was very good.We shall certainly be back again and is still dog friendly which is a huge plus for locals and holiday makers alike.

Been a couple of and unfortunately the food does not live upto expectations. Both times the menu looked great with wonderful ideas but each time the food was not upto par / bland.Service on both occasions was also slow and not attentive. Would love to support the pub again but unfortunately unless the food improves or change of chef we won't be returning..

One of the best Sunday roast dinners I have had that wasn't cooked by him indoors or my mother. Lovely atmosphere, probably because it is a locals pub. Friendly and great service. We weren't kept waiting for anything. Will definitely go again.

Excellent meal served by great & helpful staff. We all had traditional pub meals, which were good standard and plentiful in portion size. Deserts were of exceptional quality too! Would highly recommend this friendly village pub with a unique history.

Country pub, community owned. Local cask ales, fruit ciders. Nice warm pub, roaring fire it is December. The food looked good, lots of families enjoying Sunday dinners. Dog friendly.

What a lovely meal, and lovely pub! Great fish and chips, superbly cooked, as well as a lovely pudding. Great fresh beer, and so comfortable to sit and enjoy a winter's afternoon in the warm of the fire, highly recommended!!

Cosy community pub with a roaring log fire. Just right for the cold weather outside that day. . We enjoyed a lovely meal and received great service. Highly recommend.

A traditional village country pub. It always has a good selection of draught beers and the atmosphere is always welcoming with a log fire in winter. If you want tiny portions of pretty Michelin star food go elsewhere, but if you want traditional pub style food, good sized portions and nice pint for a reasonable price, give it a try. Having just had French onion soup, followed by a huge plate of slow cooked ribs, washed down by a pint of local bitter, I am truly satisfied!

Very friendly pub with good service. The food was a good standard 'pub grub' with generous portions.
