Restaurant on a weekday night wasn’t too crowded. It’s a typical old English pub with wooden furniture and upholstered seats. You order at the counter and they serve the food. Wide selection of beer they had. Food was ok not exceptional. We had bao buns, fish and chips, calamari. Prices are reasonable.

I was lucky enough to have a Father's Day lunch with my daughter here.Not the best Sunday Roast, as I would have preferred nicer roasties but a nice plate and a good portion of Turkey. Great service too.

Nice little pub in the centre of Norwich. Was very disappointed though that you had to pay to park in their car park as a patron. Surely you would offer that back off people's round if they are using your establishment? I understand that people might misuse it so they have to charge all but surely that will deter regulars stopping by. Beer was ok and service good.Won't go back as not local but have never been charged to park in a pub car park.

Had a lovely breakfast here in the sunshine with excellent customer service from Lyndsey and the other lady there which was very much appreciated as had hell of a week - will definitely be returning

Travelled down for the Newcastle v Norwich game. This was the 1st pub we got to and was open for breakfast and a pint! The breakfast was superb finished off with a lovely pint. The staff were very friendly and helpful. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP

I popped in to try the new breakfast menu before a bit of shopping in the city. I wasn't disappointed, the breakfast I had was delicious, the service was fast and efficient and the atmosphere was very chilled and relaxed. I will be returning again very soon thanks guys!

Food was excellent, decent menu,well cooked and presented,comfortable and clean.Drink reasonably priced. The service from was excellent,all staff were good,but Lynsey was brilliant,superb,friendly service,very polite and helpful,fantastic barmaid,brilliant waitress,also very high standards of cleaning tables and collecting glasses.A perfect example of a barmaid,waitress and worker in hospitality,.As good as I have seen and Greene King are very lucky to have her.I hope they realise it.

Came in Saturday night for a few drinks with friends before we went to an event in the city, we see they had some new cocktails on the menu so we got a few of those and loved them, Staff were very friendly and attentive despite it being busy which was very nice , plenty of seating inside and out, a great friendly atmosphere all round Definitely be back to try some of the new food items we spotted on the menu soon

Following my 1 star review from a visit 3 weeks ago, and then taking a call from the manager regarding my review which obviously upset him, we decided to give it one more go hoping that it was just a blip and not always like this especially reading other peoples reviews giving them 5 stars. I must say myself and the other three members in our party we’re over the moon with the standard of food and service during our lunchtime visit yesterday. It was like a totally different experience and our thanks go to all the members of staff for making it that. If this standard is maintained which I’m sure it will be then we would have no hesitation in retuning again.Many thanks, Adrian

This pub ended up being our local for the whole stay we were in Norwich. Lynsey the manager is lovely really helpful. We stayed for 4 days and came to eat here each day. Good value for money for drinks and meals. Really loved the chickpea curry and pitcher of pimms. Really friendly pub.

Exceptional experience at the pub, bar staff is very friendly welcoming especially Jasmine, exceptional service know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority, cheap quick and amazing drinks super nice atmosphere especially on a karaoke night awesome vibe and the whole experience from start to finish, the lady behind the bar was always so friendly and kind would definitely recommend giving this pub a visit.

This is a great pub to visit, it's close to the city center,good location,the staff are friendly,very polite and helpful, fantastic range of drinks, traditional pub grub,good atmosphere and sports tv showing,if you don't like sports tv,the TV's are not blaring out commentary so it's a nice place to meet friends families are welcome the food is great,and thanks to Sian,great service. All in all a great little gem in the City.
