Only worked outside but looked good when I went in and landlord and landlady very friendly

Could not fault the food, service or price but found the venue itself soulless and lacking character. Despite being an old building it had been gutted and rendered to within an inch of its life so could just as easily have been a restaurant in a ... Holiday Inn in Wolverhampton rather than a Norfolk village pub.

Stayed in cottages a few doors away and found this to be a delightful place to eat.Lisa the Operations manager and the team are fantastic, had several meals and breakfasts there. Good high quality and priced right .Pie night was great.Good to book your table in advance. Definitely a place to add to list to do when visiting Norfolk, good location.Looking forward to going back. Thanks for making us feel welcome .

It's quite expensive , a modern interior which needs some life put into it, staff lovely and very helpful just interior bland to me

Nicely equipped room, good quality breakfast with a good range of cooked options, made fresh to order.
Phoebe in particular was very helpful

Prices perhaps in line with local competition for bank holiday weekend but seemed a little steep

Beautifully refurbished pub/hotel in South Creake. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were fitted out well, although I found the shower cubicle too small (the bathroom would have accommodated a larger one).

The pub is next to a busy road which is noisy during the day, but quietened down at night.

Great little gastropub and hotel.
Friendly staff and chefs.
Went separately three times whilst in the area as food was excellent.

Everything about this place is wonderful you'd be missing out if you go anywhere else and the food was delicious . The village is also really pretty

Good food cooked in front of you. Hard working staff ensure you're well looked after. Will definitely go back. Perhaps out of season though.

10 years ago was a great pub. If you're an " I must have an impeccable interior to sit and pose in" kind of person this is for you.

An excellent turnaround under the new management at The Ostrich. Menu catered for everyone from
the carnivores through the pescatarians to the veggies. All the options were delicious and served by charming staff. Most importantly the atmos was perfect. The decision to divide up the customer area into booths is a great success. Above all, a lovely atmosphere and no piped Muzak. We’ll be back!
