Omg, we havent eaten a meal that delicious for a long time. First time trying Marmalade after moving to the area and I can definately say we'll be back ! Incredible food, excellent service and a lovely vibe . I had chicken stuffed with mozzarella with a leek and tarragon sauce and dauphinoise potato's, soooo delicious , then for desert we shared a pineapple bread and butter pudding with toffee sauce and coconut icecream- my mouths watering just reliving it!?Well done all, can't wait to revisit!

We loved Marmalade - we think the best place to eat in Sheringham, and it would lure us back when visiting Norfolk again. The food is delicious, the Chef/owner clearly takes pride in producing menus that are expertly thought through and beautifully served, with lots of delicious local produce weaved into the menu. The cookery is produced by someone who, amongst other things, is clearly highly trained in French cookery skills. The vibe of the restaurant is very relaxed and informal, which we loved. Front of house staff are warm and friendly. We are here on a short break and treating ourselves to a second meal there on our last night ❤️.

No long review necessary......JUST AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! Friendly staff, quick, efficient service and really good quality food. Wished we lived nearer Sheringham so that we could indulge more often.

This is a fantastic restaurant with great food. Service was excellent and well worth a visit. Next time in the area I will not hesitate to go back.

First the positives. My wife had the chicken and I had the lamb off the main menu. The taste and the tenderness of the meat was excellent. Unfortunately it was spoiled by insufficient quantities of the veg and potato support. Also at know time were we asked how the meal was after being served. The prices advertised online were quite a bit less than what was on the menu in the restaurant. We didn’t find this out till I was looking online later.

One of the best meals I have enjoyed for some time. Crab starter, superb lamb followed by a chocolate brownie and ice cream. All attractively presented by friendly staff. It's deservedly very popular. I just wish I lived nearer!

Never been to Marmalade’s before but it was really nice, we both had mushroom spring rolls for starters which where very nice, then for mains my girlfriend had the lamb which she said absolutely delicious, I went for the crusted hake that to was really lovely I’ve never had such a nice fish meal. For afters my girlfriend was to full and declined a sweet, me well what’s this Sheringham sink hole, wow if you have a sweet tooth you must give it a try, I won’t tell you what it consists of or how to eat it, order it and you’ll find out, it was so so nice. Over all a very good service and some lovely food, I would definitely recommend Mamarlade’s. Give it a try.

We are a group of 5 long time friends, who have enjoyed quite a lot of holidays in Sheringham, North Norfolk. It was on one occasion when we could not go to Sheringham, that the remaining 3 of our group booked a table for a meal at Marmalade’s Bistro. They couldn’t wait to tell us how much they enjoyed their meals, along with the good service and nice atmosphere. They had a lovely time in Marmalades. Although they knew I wouldn’t be able to eat any of the meals that were on the Menu. They decided to speak with Ian, the Chef, and explained about my eating problems, he gave them his phone number and asked me to ring him to see what he could do for me. When I rang Ian, and explained about my eating regime and the things that I either couldn’t eat, or didn’t like, Ian, was so helpful and understood the issues that I have with regards to the doctors strict eating guidelines. But he came up with a Starter, Main and Pudding that were “safe” for me to eat. I really looked forward to dining at Marmalades Bistro, and for the 1st time in many years I was able to dine on an absolutely amazing restaurant meal. I have recommended Marmalades Bistro to our Family and Friends. We are going back to Marmalades tomorrow evening, where we know it will be another great evening, with excellent food. A wonderful place for us to celebrate my Husband’s Birthday.

Miserable staff. Tried to book a table at this place and whilst I've had a good meal there before, this time I couldn't get in....which is fine. However, the guy on the phone sounded so miserable and wasn't enthusiastic or helpful. He didn't make me want to try again to book another evening so I'd rate this place a 2* and that's purely because I had a good meal here a few years ago.Cheer up buttercup. If you're that miserable working there why would I want to eat there?

Just back from a excellent meal. Ian always goes above and beyond with his cooking, making a special meal for our friend who has special dietary needs making a truly amazing dish for her. The young waitress was a joy and so pleasant.

Marmalade’s Bistro never disappoints. We had come to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday with family. There is such a lovely atmosphere here. Small, friendly, with attentive staff. The food quality and presentation is always excellent. When we arrived, there was a card for my husband thanking him for choosing to celebrate there and wishing him happy birthday. We decided that mains and desserts were for us. Chicken was deliciously succulent and so tasty, lamb cooked to perfection and the risotto ‘the best I’ve ever tasted!’. Desserts are always just a little out of the ordinary. Pineapple bread and butter pudding with toffee sauce, served with coconut ice cream. Chocolate brownie with stem ginger , served with fig ice cream. Scrumptious! Prices are competitive and realistic. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening.

We visited on Tuesday and had an excellent meal. Chicken dish was so moist and the lamb was tender. A few more vegetables would have been nice as we didn't order a side dish. The staff were friendly and answered our query about an ingredient we were not sure about. Well done for giving us a special night out.

This was my first visit to Marmalades, having recently eaten out in a number of restaurants in and around Sheringham this summer. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff, though young and maybe inexperienced, were attentive and polite. The food was of high quality and presented beautifully. The menu was small, but of a good range. Small choice and good quality is always better than the other way round. In the context of a lovely enjoyable meal, may I offer the following observations: The ambience left a little to be desired... it is a small, intimate bistro (that is a positive in my book) but maybe some music and dimmer lighting might make it actually feel intimate. Secondly, I did feel that it was a bit over priced. I have read the other reviews and I hope that the owner, Sarah, takes this in the spirit it is intended and does not post a reply in the same vein as she did to GracieD61, which I felt was very patronising. If I had read that reply before eating at Marmalades, I may not have booked. These are the two reasons to review at 4/5 instead of 5/5.... however, I do recommend the restaurant
