Don't just go here for the cafe...The gardens are fabulous too.Lovely mixture of planting areas from woodland to lawns. If you take your time and look you can while away several hours here. Sit in quiet corners and relax spot the wildlife and pond dip in the specially designated area. And that's before you do the treasure hunt in the maze 'my grandsons loved it.

What a great place. Lovely gardens and plenty for children to do. Woodland play area and pond dipping. Amazing value.Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty flat and good paths around the gardens

The gardens were lovely, relaxing and enjoyable. The maze was small and easy but it was a bit of fun.The cafe is set in a beautiful relaxing area. We sat outside on the comfy chairs and sofa. We arrived at the cafe an hour before they closed and they didn’t have much to choose from for a snack but we did enjoy the toasted teacake with a cuppa. Now for the negatives…..One of the staff was rude to my elderly mum (86yrs) who struggles to hear. She snapped at my mum as she wanted her to decide quickly what she wanted to order. We let it pass as the other staff were very lovely and helpful. The next negative is the hygiene. This same staff member was cleaning the toilets using no PPE. She was wiping the wash hand basin followed by the toilet seat using one blue paper towel and was not wearing gloves. She then took the used blue paper towel into the cafe to dispose of it. She did not wash her hands before leaving the toilet cubicle and certainly didn’t before she went back into the cafe. Appalling hygiene standards.

Had the best time here, so many beautiful flowers to see. Had a lovely lunch in the cafe and had a little Robin and her baby join me too.

Back in Norfolk for our holiday. Found this place last time (4years ago) but it stayed in our minds….because of the delicious crab salad and amazing gardens. I could have sat in those gardens forever. Great service with a smile from entry to table service. I’m going to keep recommending this place and I WILL be back!!

We really enjoyed Priory Maze and Gardens. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained and some beautiful sights to see around the gardens. The term maze should be used very loosely but it’s a lovely walk. The cafe has plenty of seating outdoor and is nicely furnished. With a great selection of cakes after our walk around the common this was the ideal stop. Nice, clean and well maintained

An oasis of calm that invites you to explore dozens of wonderful plants, trees and bushes set in collections based on seasons or habitat. There are many benches placed to give you viewing opportunities while you rest. In addition there is an interesting maze that is large enough for you to get lost in. The on site restaurant is equally worthy of praise as it provides excellent food choices, well cooked and served with a friendly smile. We loved it here and will be coming time after time as the seasons change.

Fantastic garden and great maze, even though we went late in the season it was wonderful. As its October it was half price. Also dogs are welcome. We'll worth going in the maze cafe, their cream teas, "coffees in our case" were lovely and well priced. While here it's worth taking a walk up the public footpath between the priory gardens and priory farm to see the remains of St Mary's in the the meadow or Beeston priory.

Beautiful gardens with price to match. Nice coffee before our walk to see the ruins.Dinner little bit of a hiccough as my curry was not warm heat wise. But problem solved quickly and hot food delivered back.

This was a lovely place, with shady wooded areas and grassy open areas, with streams, babbling brooks and wavy paths throughout. This is accessible for wheelchairs and prams. Dog friendly, child friendly with slides, climbing frames and pond dipping opportunities. You can take a picnic, there are picnic tables in the gardens to relax and sit. The cafe is lovely with inside/ outside dining, specials and dog yogurt. Finally, a little gift shop and plants for sale. I was shocked that they only have one gardener.

Wonderful gardens and the maze is a really fun way to spend some time. Can take your dogs here as well as long as you clean up after them.Cafe is really nice, especially with comfortable outside seating.

The Priory Maze was very close to where we were staying in Sheringham so decided to visit. Beautiful gardens and maze was good fun (a couple of us got lost!). Also went for drinks and light snacks at the café. Half us were served fine with cold drinks and cake but 3 teacakes, a bowl of chips and 4 hot drinks took 45minutes! Very disappointing end to a nice visit.
