Staff are friendly, food was fantastic. Had a slight mix up with reserved seats, but staff were apologetic. Still..... Its a great place to eat. We've been here several times before, and will be coming again. It's a nice place to bring the family for a bite out during the cold times....

A spontaneous late lunch with dog in tow. That we could take her in was a deciding factor. How lucky were we! From stepping inside we felt welcome due to friendly and efficient staff. Perfect atmosphere and sooo clean too. Our food was amazing and great value. We will be back?

Honestly the best chips I've had in a very long time. My husband had a GF haddock and he said it was delicious!

Very good deal for Over 60s ...cod and chips, mushy peas and mug tea or coffee for £10. Fish little bit greasy but chips were best I've had for ages. Friendly staff. Glad to find somewhere serving hot meals until 7pm. Will definitely visit again.

There was nothing wrong with the food we had. Excellent fish and chips and reasonable to eat in. Sorry, but had to drop a star as there was no card machine working. Usually above £20 for card payments which our two meals were. So a trip to a nearby cash machine. I don't normally have more than a tenner on me.

Great fish and chips, fried in real beef dripping, at a really good price. Nice waitresses but, terrible atmosphere due to rude and bullying manageress

Food was highly enjoyable, portion sizes for price was a little off as had varying levels of food per plate. And sauces were in small portions but overall tasty food which is almost most important. Also service was done well, staff were attentive and nice to see the personality when being waited A* to the staff :)

We used this as a takeaway though we would have eaten in. It is dog friendly and that was nice to know for us with a dog on a cold day. We enjoyed the food and felt it was value for money

Enjoyed our cod and scampi and chips take away. Had hoped to order haddock but the lady who took my call apologised, advising that they had sold over 150 that day and were sold out ! Clearly a popular Fish and Chips place, given that the restaurant was pretty full on a Monday evening

For a sit down no frills cafe/restaurant it's not bad. We had a fairly nice cod and chips with mushy peas and tea. The prices were pretty good and staff really helpful. Atmosphere on a Wednesday at about 6pm resembled a social club but it was child friendly and we parked our buggy at the table. I just can't give it 5 stars as it wasn't up there with the best fish and chips I've ever had but I can still recommend it.Kid-friendliness: We were able to park the buggy at our table

Had table service on a Saturday evening. Friendly waiting staff. Food all ok but not great. An item of our meal arrived much later than the rest. Poor quality condiments. Toilet not very clean and in need of refurbishment. Good value though and in great
