2nd time visiting this cafe at Sherringham. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Had the homemade sausage roll and chutney...amazing. the homemade orange and almond cake finished it off a treat.will be back.

Lovely afternoon tea and cake at Whelks. The tea room is actually open into the late afternoon when most people want to have a hot drink. We had mocha, chai latte and iced chai latte. All were delicious, with the mocha one of the best we have tasted. Accompanying the drinks we had a lemon cake which was moist and light, a nutella brownie which was rich and fudgy and a millionaire shortcake, which was buttery and rich. Service was great and we came out stuffed! Whelks is highly recommended.

Amazing service, beautiful food and stunning views! Highly recommend!!

The food and atmosphere are nice, but the service is really inadequate. Only one of the 3 vegan breakfasts you ordered arrived, and when we asked, they said yes, it will come but After that, when we asked again, they said you only ordered one, and then we ordered two more vegan breakfasts again.

Whenever we pop into Sheringham, we make a beline for the Whelk copper, food is excellent staff are friendly can get a bit caiotic at times but that's the price of success, all food is cooked fresh so be prepared to wait to get a table and served with freshly cooked food.

Went for a lovely breakfast here with my partner, mum, and dad. It was absolutely lovely. The food was brilliant and came out in good time. The service was fantastic. You can tell they all cared about their customers' experience. I will definitely come back in the summer.

Always visit whenever we’re in Sheringham. Asked for poached eggs for ‘The Skinny’ breakfast. Everything was nice except the eggs as they were over cooked so I didn’t eat them. No one checked how our meal was and when going to pay, they cheekily asked for a tip. I think they need to change their perspective on how they should ask/receive tips.If I was to visit again, I wouldn’t get a breakfast with eggs as this wasn’t the first occasion they overcooked them.
