This accommodation is not pet friendly even tho they say they accept dogs .. the staff including the landlord are extremely rude & need to learn some manners ..Noteworthy details: Not pet friendly even tho they say they are .. fuming that the staff as a whole are extremely rude & have no manners

We came here for a late lunch on Saturday. There were 3 of us, and we all had something different from the vast menu; steak, lasagne & gammon. And the food was amazing! Beautifully cooked, well-presented & there was plenty of it.We were very impressed by the service given by the polite, professional & friendly young man who served us our dinners & our drinks. He made sure everything was good with us and also kept an eye out to see if we wanted anything more - which was really very good as the bar was busy with customers & he was dealing with that too! First class!!We will definitely be back & cannot recommend The Queen Victoria highly enough.Thank you very much.

Really good atmosphere, nice local pub, service was prompt and the drink was to my liking, awesome central location to the village, ideal to have a couple of pints and walk home. Welcoming staff to non regularsThe bar itself isn't big, but there is like an overflow restaurant area that you can sit in.From what we could see, dogs were very much welcome. There was also plenty of outdoor seating and an undercover area for smokers. There was also a small play area out the back of the pub by the carparkRooms were sufficient but not big. Don't bring too much luggage into the room as you will be tight for space. There was a TV, dressa table and en suit facilities in the roomBreakfast was delicious ?, continental, and fry up available. It wasn't unlimited, but it filled us all up.

Stayed for one night on 3/2/24 in motorhome. Cant understand some of negative reviews. Site good, toilets and shower very clean. Ate there Saturday evening. Food good and reasonable prices. Everyone friendly. A positive experience all round. Shall recommend to friends. Ron Eaves.

Great food served in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The quantities are great . We were there with a large group for a pre Christmas meal. Everything was brought out promptly . 4 types of vegetables and the home made Brandy Butter was very good.
