Decent Thai food in a traditional pub setting, with friendly service and very reasonable prices ??We had the mixed starters for 2 (all very tasty), a Pad Thai (okay), a Penang beef (flavoursome, if a little sauce-heavy) and egg fried rice (a good example of the dish).This with a pint of diet coke and a pint of Aspall's cider was £46 ??

Had a lovely meal served by a really helpful and friendly person (don't want to get it wrong!!). What totally confused me was the old English tea room decor. Surely it was once a pub? Freaked me out a bit.

I'm new to and really like their Thai food and my wife, their English meals. Always good quality ingredients, both styles are always very tasty. Wine (splendid Malbec recently) and beer are good. Friendly and considerate staff, nice atmosphere and prices are reasonable. Strongly recommend The Swan.

Thai food was just ok. Stir fry seemed like just made from frozen vegetables with very little flavours.I love Thai food, and I found it underwhelming.The service was great.
