“Myself and my partner moved to North Yorkshire last year and have been looking for a good Indian restaurant ever since, having spent the day at Middleham we chose to stop here for tea on the way home. Wow, Spice didn't disappoint one bit, by far the best Indian we have had in a long time and the best so far in North Yorkshire. Great food, welcoming staff, nice restaurant. Added bonus, on a Wednesday they have an offer on, 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 sundries for £29, the lamb chops were that good I asked for a double portion to take away for later, they didn't last long.”

“We had the best dinner at the Taste of India last Monday evening! Freshly cooked with high quality ingredients, interesting dishes and not just the usual korma or jalfrezi. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. So welcoming and friendly! Only wish we lived closer but we will definitely be back to this very special family run place. Even on a Monday night they were busy which shows how good they are. Thank you for looking after us so well!”

“Used this take away for a few year , since been taken over got a bit pricy, the rice has been over cooked for the last 4 visits (Stodgy ) , must be batch cooked along with the chips and re heated , as they are getting tough so will need to find a decent Chinese takeaway over Thirsk way that'll get our weekly orders, sometimes twice a week ! Decent staff, just a shame about the decline of the food.”
