What a little gem first visit and stopped whilst out on a cycle ride with a group of friends, very cycle freindly plenty of space to secure your bike. Next the service and food, both first class, polite and efficient. The food very good with a wide choice and as cyclist plenty of cakes.Definitely recommended and we will be back.Food & drinks: Great choice, great value.

A very pleasant experience with excellent food and coffee. A neat car park beside it with direct access into the tea rooms.

Stumbled on this lovely tea room while out walking in the area, just had coffee & scone which was lovely. There were other very tempting cakes. A good range of sandwiches/ panninies & soup as well as a breakfast menu till 11 30. Nice outdoor area which as it was a rare nice day we sat in. But inside looked very nice & welcoming. Will be retuning. Staff nice & friendly.

I requested catering from Doylys 3 months before our event to which they confirmed they would be delighted to cater for. They are recommended by Acaster Malbis hall on their website. After several emails to and from in the weeks leading up to it and a couple of confirmation emails, including invoice, it is incredibly disappointing, frustrating, and extremely unprofessional on Doylys behalf to receive a cancellation email, no phone call, less than one week before with no reason given. Only stating they hope I understand. We were requesting about £250 worth of food. They hadn’t been the friendliest, or most professional, to communicate with (usually no name on their emails so they remained quite anonymous), and also emailed me a couple of days ago to confirm cancellation, which was quite suspicious, only to then reply to my surprised email stating that it wasn’t cancelled and their mistake. Very confused and let down by them to receive an email this morning stating they can’t do the catering. And why? No reason.Tried calling them a couple of times but no answer on the phone.

Lovely little family run tearoom, friendly welcome, lovely food and atmosphere, and reasonably priced. The mushroom soup and cheddar scone was lovely, and there is a very tempting range of cakes. Definitely worth a visit.
