Ordered Welsh Rarebit, humm not even a full sized slice piece of bread and one one slice! Not entirely sure I would call it RAREBIT more like an odd tasting cheese on toast.Extortionately priced for what you get. And if you are going to do a side salad either do it but don't make it look like you have run out of ingredients. Coffee is expensive served in the smallest looking cups ever. Ice cream had ice in it, so it's clearly not been held at the right temperature. Brownie was average.Overall, overpriced and really, really really skimpy portions! They must make about £150 return on a loaf of bread at the rate they charge. However the place, visually is loverly - that is it.Bitterly disappointed with food and price paid.

It's a lovely little gem in gargrave to stop at for lovely food, drinks and a sweet shop selling all those sweets that bring back memories. The walls and selves contain items that bring back memories of the past a talking point as you enjoy your food.

Nice place, quite unusual as they're aiming for. Fascinating décor and built in sweetshop too. Fairly expensive but a good choice for food. Friendly staff and nice

Absolutely shocking quality of food at an extortionate price. We called in as needed to grab a sandwich on our way home. Firstly they were rude and difficult about us wanting to take our sandwich away. When we got back to the car we were very disappointed. Ordered a ham and cheese toasty, we got a slither of ham and not much tomato with no cheese. Not what we ordered. This cost us £6.50!!!We ordered a sausage sandwich with ketchup. The sausage was cut into little chunks and was extremely dry with no ketchup. We also asked for a toasted fruit teacake, we were given a plain scone instead.Absolutely shocking, will not be going back, especially at those prices. If we'd not been in a rush to get off we would have taken the food straight back and demanded a refund. What a waste of money.
I had a migraine when I visited and the staff really looked after me. The coffee and toast were great and I was able to buy Nuttalls Mintoes which I haven’t had in years.

So disappointed the cafe looks very nice but the prices do not represent good value for money. Very small coffee in a teeny tiny tea cup only three quarters full £2.80. Dales lunch advertised as home cooked ham served with cheese and salad £9:50 very thin slice of what looked like supermarket ham you could not even see on the plate about 1oz of cheese chopped salad very mediocre. Tiny bowl of soup broccoli and blue cheese but could have been mushroom? served with pre cut and thinly buttered white roll. Pot of tea for one. Total bill £21.00 We appreciate the price of food has increased as has the general cost of living but this was very poor value for money. We will not be returning

Busy spot, considering it was quiet when we Arrived after 2pm, then all of Sudden busy. Either have one person stationed at the kiosk buying sweets nd paying for goods highly recommend. Otherwise was Fun and Quirky with old style memory Sweet Shop, garden potting shed shop and
