The Pub is a really great place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Really nice atmosphere. Food was amazing. I had a dish off the specials and it was excellent. Partner had a pork hotshot parmo and said it was one off the best he's eaten. Must try the onion rings amazing. Desserts was fabulous. Definitely going

The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was good it was very busy, the parking is a bit insane on a Saturday night and we both ordered a large parmo it looked nice presentation wise the chicken was a bit thin and not a great deal of bechemel sauce and also quite greasy I’ve honestly had less greasy ones from a takeaway the same with the chips, the service was good and the food was alright not what you expect for award winning but nonetheless edible we both ate it all. I wish I took a photo. Would I be in a rush to come back probably not but if I did I’d try something else cos the food that was coming out did look nice x

Free icecream with kids meal wrote on the menu... asked for the ice cream for the kids at the end and she laughed and said oh no that shouldn't be on there you have to pay seperate for that! I didn't out of principle, would have been nice to have been told that before we ordered pretty sure it should have been honoured but we walked out. Disappointed. Expensive for what it was, parmo average. Had to pay extra for salad even though it stated salad and chips on menu. Won't be going again. Absolute joke

Nice cosy pub waited a while to get our food ordered. Food came out quite fast. We ordered parmosans which were average bit shocked when the bill came as we had to pay for salad.

Extremely disappointing, food was not up to standard. We ended up leaving the majority of our meal. Tasteless, the presentation was extremely poor, definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend. As I vegetarian I was presented with a slab of butternut with orange breadcrumbs!

Just what we wanted after a long walk. A warm welcome for us and our 4 legged friend. A good pint, and the best pizza I've had for a long time.

Came for a date night on a Monday. Had not booked a table. One was found straight away, was approximately half full. Both of us had 3 courses, lamb meatballs, meat feast pork parmo and the cheesecake are all highly recommend also the pizzas are very delicious and large. Staff very friendly, service was quick and the food was hot. Again highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again.

Been going there for years and always thought it was one of the best places to go for a parmo but after my last visit I don't think I'll be back again. First off they got my order wrong so I had to wait and eat alone for my food everyone else had finished theirs and also the portion sizes are a lot smaller than they used to be, but the biggest disappointed was the fact you have to pay extra for a salad and garlic sauce!!! We paid £10 extra in total for something where 99% of places it comes free, to use the excuse that some people leave the salad doesn't justify charging them who want a salad extra. What next napkins 10p a pop? Such a shame it used to be a great place, the food is nice and staff are friendly but I'm not paying an extra £3 per person for a salad and garlic sauce.

We stopped here for lunch and as it was busy outside, we decided to take a table inside. The decor was fine if a bit dated, and it was in need of a bit of a clean to remove all the cobwebs from the inside of the windows. We didn’t get off to a great start as the waitress was so sullen and it was as if we were spoiling her “chat time” with the other wait staff by coming into the pub. And she was the same any time we interacted throughout the meal. The food was standard pub fare and not all that well cooked either. The drinks were fine and it was about right for value. We won’t be going back.

Been visiting The Buck for years and have always loved the thin parmo’s but after visiting today a lot has changed, firstly you have to pay £1.50 for the side salad which all three of us ordered, it came out in a very small bowl which I thought we would have got three of the bowls but we didn’t!!! Secondly the chicken parmo’s have always been thin but today the chicken was thick which wasn’t very nice. Three of us visited but the table next to us had only two people and they had the same amount of chips and salad which we received . I was very disappointed and sadly won’t be revisiting ? not worth the price.

The chips weren’t that nice and the food was quite small. Food: 1 star The desert was amazing and tasted brilliant the only reason the isn’t a 1 star 4.5/5 stars

We only stopped for a quick drink, but having looked at the menu we will be going back. Staff very friendly, lots of outside space too.

Lovely, juicy scampi with fresh rocket. Really tasty and a good price. Would like to see a wholemeal or granary option of bun instead of only ciabatta. Very friendly and welcoming.
