Just the best place to eat in Harrogate. We went again today for a Mother's Day meal and had another excellent meal. The Lobster Masala is so delicious that three of us chose it.This time I had Prawn Yakisoba. It is all just so tasty and fresh. It was quite busy today - just cannot understand why it is not packed out all of the time. Saying that I am quite happy - It's our secret place!

Visited tonight for the first time - wonderful reasonably priced and very varied set menu together with a la carte We chose the set menu, had starters of lobster masala and lightly battered king prawns with sweet chilli sauce both came with a simple but wonderfully mixed side salad with an amazing dressing. For mains we both chose Monkfish Massaman Curry and were not disappointed- fantastic delicately spiced curry with a wonderful soupy sauce and lovely jasmine rice. Finally a perfectly turned out chocolate fondant and a selectionof ice creams … excellent wine menu & can recommend the Chenin Blanc A buzzing place with walk ins warmly welcomed and seated. This was down to the exceptional front of house, waiter, wine waiter, washer upper, table laying etc … on his own and never stopped working but made time to engage with each customer in a genuine and professional manner. We then find out that the chef is actually the apprentice of the chef and she was also cooking on her own and did a wonderful job - two young people managed the whole evening like clockwork - credit to the chef and owner! We will return to Harrogate just to experience this wonderful place again!! Thank you Phil & Karen

We had a table for 3 for dinner. Nice friendly service on arrival from Amy who was excellent throughout and very knowledgeable about the menu and how dishes were cooked. We were greedy and ordered 4 starters between 3 as they sounded so good. We were glad we did as each dish was excellent. Cod tikka was perfectly cooked and lightly spiced, scallops were juicy and moist (4 queen scallops made it a large starter ), my partner said the king prawn madras roti starter was one of the nicest dishes she has ever had and the teriyaki beef wasabi melted in the mouth. My main course lobster biriyani was delicious, packed full of lobster pieces (out of shell) and rice cooked in a lovely fish stock. Teriyaki salmon was also delicious and large with 5 pieces of salmon fillet. My partner also really enjoyed her lobster and ginger stir fry. We had a side of broccoli with chilli and almonds, all washed down with a very nice bottle of white rioja. Too full for dessert. A wonderful meal overall and we will always look to return when in Harrogate.

Introduced to FISK by friends in December we were impressed by the willingness of the waiting staff and kitchen to accommodate specific allergies. My wife has an intolerance to MSG, any unpleasant reactions lasting for weeks. As a consequence in spite of my passion for all Asian cuisine we never dine wherever MSG features as a basic flavour enhancer often in contrast to assurances otherwise given.. We returned this month and again each chosen dish was adapted to exclude MSG. I cannot say with hand on heart that this in any way left us feeling compromised, the lunch was beautiful. So, thank you to Izzy in the kitchen and Reef who took great care to understand our challenges, you together delivered some of the most succulent seafood we have eaten in this part of the world. And with no nasty aftereffects!

Fabulous quality across all the dishes ordered. What an absolute treat for a foodie! Now to go back and work through every delicious dish on the menu. No holding back on portion sizes of quality ingredients either! Can you have too much langoustine and lobster?Amy provided excellent service throughout the evening catering for our every need. Outstanding Thai restaurant with bundles of character. The food is awesome, served by friendly and attentive staff. This was our second visit, and we are looking forward to our third in the very near future. 5 stars from us.

The food is superb. 12 of us with a variety of dishes, all said the food was fabulous. The young front of house staff were polite and very nice, but for an expensive restaurant I would expect there to be a senior manager organising service, greeting customers and making sure things run smoothly and to time. It was fine, but a bit disorganised and amateurish.
