Always enjoy eating in this Pizza Express. Always a warm welcome, all tables that have just been used are usually cleared away straight away leaving the restaurant looking clean and presentable. Nduja calzone and the lasange were wonderful. Promptly served by very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Lively atmosphere with a lot of customers in but still a very pleasant experience. Will be back soon.

Food was really good.We had to wait for plates so we could share our starters.Eventually, after asking yet again, my husband had to go and ask for the plates.He saw the original member of staff that we had asked was sitting down eating his lunch. He had clearly forgotten.They were eventually brought to our table, our starters were on the cold side by then.The female manager's attitude towards us wasn't friendly or helpful at all.She was passive aggressive, when she saw we had birthday and tesco vouchers.She kept saying it was in the small print.We have no idea what she meant or what she was talking about.

I went out last week with a few pals and shared 3 pizzas. Genuinely the best pizza I’ve tasted in a long time! Full of flavour with fresh toppings. The staff were incredibly friendly and wouldn’t see our glasses run dry. Definitely recommend! Very reasonable prices and was left bursting at the seams. Kudos to the managers for running a great team and making sure the quality of food is on point!

Worst meal I’ve had in a while, food was average and the atmosphere was horrendous. It was like being in a children’s creche, you couldn’t hear each other to have a conversation and children were running around the restaurant and making constant noise.

We ordered a takeaway which said it was going to arrive within the hour, when I tracked the delivery the time kept going up and up and two hours later we rang the driver who blamed the restaurant and said he would be with us within 10 minutes. When he finally arrived, he was missing a pizza and the one other pizza we received wasn’t correct. We were supposed to receive 2 pizzas a drink and dough balls and we only got 1 pizza which was incorrect and dough balls and the whole thing was stone cold. Upon contacting the restaurant, they blamed the driver for not collecting one of the pizzas and said he only collected it 20 minutes prior which means it must have been sat there for ages considering it was absolutely stone cold. Gutted as we love pizza express and we do eat there quite frequently but it has completely put us off.

Very disappointing. More staff than customers, 4 “chef’s” without counting waiting staff. Very loud, we were at the opposite end of the restaurant and could hear “chefs” chatting very loudly. Halloween decorations were being put up, whilst customers eating. Surely this should be done before customers arrive or after they leave? Food, below average. Chicken Wings to start, which arrived v quickly. To be honest, we believe they were microwaved. Hot on outside, cold in the middle. Pizza’s cold within 5 mins of arriving. Manager needs to sort out body odour issues as when she leaned over the table, it was all you could smell.

Had a great group meal here in August. A large party of 9 adults and 8 kids. Service was great and we were all attended to well by the waiting staff. Food was really enjoyable. Would recommend !!
