A very welcoming place. The staff friendly and the food excellent. Full of flavour and good sized portions. The atmosphere was warm and the restaurant clean and tidy. Will return on another trip to Harrogate. Highly recommend.

A tale of 2 halves - excellent service and friendly staff. But meals came out within minutes of arriving, my partners pork meal was enjoyable but sadly my lamb meal wasn't as meat very tough (couldn't cut) and carrots hard. The brulee dessert were nice but cold and prefer when served warm. I didn't complain as restaurant was filling up with lots of guests at this stage. Sadly felt disappointed as opted for Saturday night more expensive menu and my expectations were not met so all in all poor value for money.

We had a very enjoyable Sunday Roast here. The food was excellent and the service was prompt and friendly.Although it was excellent, it gets 4 stars because it isn't the best in Harrogate but its certainly up there.

This was my first visit to this restaurant despite having lived nearly ten years in Harrogate , but it won't be my last . I was impressed with everything but especially the food . The fish was perfectly cooked and presented , and the service impeccable . I enjoyed the Chilean Chardonnay that I chose to accompany it . Prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food .

Fantastic lunch meal for my wife's birthday. First time visit and would highly recommend.Superb service, very attentive and helpful.Lunch menu was very reasonably priced.January mid week when we visited so fairly quiet.

Excellent food, they only serve 175 ml wine glass which is always known as a medium and 9.50 for a rioja which is very expensive, they refused to serve drinks in the back room as the card machine does not work, either ask for cash or ask to add it to the bill do not leave guests thirsty. The waitress could not squeeze between the chairs in the back room so made it very uncomfortable being pushed and shoved by the waitress. We did have an excellent quality meal.
